96 Quite Bitter Beings: My 21st Blog of the year 2026

Well, g'day guys, & welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first that Aunty Tan & Rejean have left Whanganui in which they gladly enjoy that when our family such as Pops, Dad, Raewyn, Bryan & Viv bid farewell to them when we were at Whanganui airport (It was the day after we enjoyed our whanau meal at Rutland Arms Inn with Dad, Raewyn, Raewyn's daughter, me, Pops, Nigel, Isaac, Nathan (Nazza who is Isaac's friend, but he's very similar to my Dad in terms of or regardless of his height), Aunty Tan, Rejean, Bryan & Viv, same day we had a fish & chip dinner meal altogether for an ideal start to 2026) on the same day we saw both Andy & Kelsey briefly, but I went to the Vinyl Room to resurface the dreaded SWBF2 2005 PlayStation 2 disc that is still not working which costs 5 bucks, but unfortunately Techno Fix has been closed until January 5th so me & Pops will have to go there for disc cleaning (We tried going there, but they hardly have one, while EB Games (Who I heard rumors that the gaming retailer that I always go since it opened in 2010 here in Whanganui which is by far one of my fave shops in town is closing down all of its 38 stores & it's distribution centre due to declining sales as well as a retail climate meaning that I have to go to either the Warehouse or JB Hi-fi to buy games & stuff as I heard a comment from one of my old friends of Jay at BNZ, & what is my reaction of EB closing? Well I'm stunned, I am absolutely devastated that its finally shutting down as EB Games had to go when the employees were asked by a letter being sent, & I mean this is absolute ludicrous that the shenanigans told to close it for good according to that decision which marked a turning point) does not, so we went to the library to find out, but unfortunately that they can't do that anymore because the disc cleaner had been broken), but if it doesn't, I'll have to trade it in for money just like I did not want that EA Sports Rugby game for that is completely not working, & I'm worried about Pops buying too much food so that Dad can declutter the food every time he comes to our place at 15A Kells Avenue on Sunday if Pops is not around here (And I should not tell Pops about it so that I can keep a secret from him).

And secondly in one of 3 the newspaper articles I saw on Whanganui Chronicle on the 3rd of January that I remember such as the tennis that our own Kiwi player Lulu Sun who had to pull out of the ASB Classic Women through injury after she revealed that Sun (Who reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon the year before, & would have been a positive frame in mind following a tough season last year during the Asian swing, with 4 eye-catching weeks in China) could not recover in time & is not prepared to take on the rigours of the ATP event, but her withdrawal has been a double blow, but the latest in the tennis in Auckland at the ASB Classic women where Ukraine's Elina Svitolina triumphs against China's Wang Xin Yu in the final in which Svitolina was able to redeem herself 2 years after falling short against the American Coco Gauff (Who was in deep trouble after losing to Elina Svitolina in the Australian Open women's singles quarterfinals where TV cameras spotted Gauff at a dressing room smashing a racquet in defeat (And I mean, what the hell's wrong with it? But tournament organisers are scrambling the support staff of a tennis player of asking to cut the cameras off so they can give them space, just like an incident involving Aryna Sabalenka who smashed a racquet during the US Tennis Open last year that I saw footage from the Pardon the Interruption programme (And this is an infringement for several codes buddy!) in a newspaper headline that I saw on the Whanganui Chronicle on the 29th of January dubbed as: APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION) in 2024, but isn't Elina's husband Gael Monfils the Frenchman who triumphed last year delighted to witness his wife's title victory at Stanley Street (And the late Carole who was always been a tennis follower would've known that result if she was alive, but unfortunately that she is no longer with us when Carole passed away last year in November for well, that was a bit of a shock (That was both sad & emotional about the loss for which I am heartbroken about it, so too is Pops (Who thought that he was a tennis follower, but he doesn't now), & her bros of Marty & Zaki), especially both the Ngapo & Webb whanau altogether (And they still have her son Andy up in the North Shore in Orewa with his wife for about presumably 7 years of Kelsey).

And thirdly that Aussie cricketer Usman Khawaja (The one who immigrated to Australia from Islamabad (Pakistan's capital city) as a child, battling the odds of to become the country's first Pakistan-born national player as he had been affected by racial stereotypes throughout his international cricket career, therefore forcing him to quit hence the reason why) is set to retire by calling time on international cricket following the 5th & final Ashes test (AKA the New Year's test) against England in Sydney at 39 who is set to pad up one last time when they take to the field for the 88th time (Where the classy left-hander returns to where it all began, back in 2011 at the Sydney Cricket Ground, also against the English) if available which begins on January 4th, therefore ending months of speculation about his future (And by the way, happy retirement Uzzie, the Aussies have done proud, so, good on him), but there has been an update as Australia win the Ashes series 4 - 1 after a most commanding but overwhelmingly dominant victory by 5 wickets over England thanks to centuries from both Travis Head (Who was the most standout player of the game) & Steve Smith in the 1st innings, while the English responded with centuries to Joe Root (His second on Aussie soil (And first since the Brisbane test) in the 1st innings, then Jacob 'Beth' Bethell (His first century ever in test cricket) in the 2nd innings, but it wasn't decent enough to overpower the Aussies in Usman Khawaja's farewell test as he signs off international cricket in style, as well as the last time that the Australians see Smith as well as Mitchell Starc (Who received the 2025-26 Ashes series MVP (Most valuable player) for being the top wicket taker of the entire campaign at 31 (That is 9 ahead of the Englishman Brydon Carse who bagged in 22 wickets for the English), Pat Cummins (Whose only involvement in the Ashes series was the 3rd test in Adelaide where Steve Smith was unavailable through sickness allowing Cummins to take over as captain, before Smith himself was available for selection in Melbourne for the Boxing Day test where he returned as the skipper after Cummins succumbed to an injury meaning that his Ashes series is over), Josh Hazlewood (Who just wasn't involved at all where he was ruled out of the series through injury) & Nathan Lyon (Who played in the 1st test in Brisbane but was left out of the 2nd test in Brisbane before returning in the 3rd test where he picked up an hamstring tear on the 5th & final day with his Ashes campaign had ended) on Aussie soil against England who won't have both Root & Ben Stokes (Who had a groin issue that tore his adductor on the fourth morning of the 5th Ashes test to become yet another casualty of England's dreadful Ashes tour as the captain bowled 10 deliveries from the beginning of play on Wednesday, then pulled up in his follow-through holding his right groin) around in 2029.

And finally that the British boxer of Anthony Joshua (The one who beat Jake Paul to retain the title in the US), has managed to survive in his ancestral homeland in Nigeria with minor injuries along with the driver who is expected to face charges for a vehicular accident causing death twice, after being discharged from hospital then being held in law enforcement custody that claimed the life of both Latif Ayodele & Sina Ghami in Lagos in which Joshua paid respects to the fallen victims at the funeral home where the bodies of his friends were being ready for repatriation.

Lovesick Lullaby: My 20th Blog of the year 2026

Well, hello lovelies, & welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first in the cricket as England snap a 18 match losing run on Australian soil for the first time since January 2011 during the 5th & final test in Sydney (One of the players like Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Jacob Bethell, & others who had never experienced a win for the English on Australian soil before, up until that point) with a win against Australia (Who retained the Ashes by clinching it in the 3rd test in Adelaide with 2 remaining tests to spare) during the Boxing Day test in Melbourne which was completed inside 2 days (And there could have been a 3rd day in front of a sold out crowd who were restless since the 2nd day ended with an English victory), but the English have lost pace bowler of Gus Atkinson who'll take no further part in the next test in Sydney AKA the New Year's Pink test through injury (And he is the 3rd English bowler after both Mark Wood (His Ashes campaign lasted just the one test in Perth) & Jofra Archer (Who played the first 3 tests in Perth, Brisbane & Adelaide before being ruled out of the Boxing Day test in Melbourne with a side strain, & is likely to be ruled out of the 5th & final test along with Atkinson scheduled in Sydney on the 4th to 8th of January at the Sydney Cricket Ground) to succumb to injuries throughout the England pace bowling camp).

And secondly that there was a rugby story, about the All Blacks would never ever win a men's Rugby World Cup again in 2019 & 2023 (Both won by South Africa), after the retirements of both great AB's of Richie McCaw (Captain of the 2007, 2011 & 2015 tournaments for New Zealand (While his only tournament that McCaw wasn't the skipper was in 2003 back then when he made his men's RWC tournament debut) & Dan Carter (Whose net worth is between 20 to 30 million New Zealand dollars due to him setting up a business during his post playing rugby career, but he & McCaw handpicked of who their favourite rugby player was, & it's been revealed that it was a New Zealander of the late Jonah Lomu who had been once best described as a human wrecking ball, as well as a juggernaut by most passionate fanatics throughout the rugby community & fraternity not just in NZ but around the world, (Especially in South Africa that their fans (Compared to the Fijians who are by far, the best rugby fans on the planet) who literally miss him) during his rugby career).

And thirdly that I was having a steak meal with chips, eggs & onions at Caroline's Boatshed on the 28th of December last year (2025), it had taken way too long like 2 hours or so when I was with Pops, Aunty Tan & Rejean (Who both seemed to love that New Zealand trip), unlike the dessert that I had here on New Year's eve at Thai Villa saying that they wasted their time to make it (And trust me that last year was turbulent due to the wars such as the one in Gaza that they used to have, but that dreadful invasion since 2022 has still been going (And they're trying to find a solution of ending it for that will be an unlikely cause for that swiftful & peaceful end to that conflict just like my dreaded Star Wars Battlefront II 2005 Playstation 2 game that Aunty Tan gave it to me for Christmas which still had its gremlins), & political upheaval such as that dreadful American leader's tariff policies & anti-immigration stance regime that had been put on in which American people have gone crazy towards him (And they'll be terrified about that).

And lastly that the season opening F1 season, takes place in Australia in Melbourne on March 6th to 8th in which the new British world champion Lando Norris (The one who races for the defending constructors champions McLaren, & is the first British world champion other than multiple world champ Sir Lewis Hamilton since the current senior consultant adviser for the Atlassian Williams F1 Team of Jenson Button back in 2009) is expected to return to defend the crown that he won last year when he was able to beat his main rivals of Red Bull's Dutchman Max Verstappen (Whose utter dominance in F1 since claiming his maiden world championship in 2021 marked the beginning of the end for him) by 2 points & his Aussie teammate Oscar Piastri at the season ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix event for which was totally epic, but the new loopholes will change, such as the car design that will be entertaining & appealing to a new generation of fans + the new Audi F1 Team will be there, so too is the Cadillac F1 Team as the 11th constructor on the grid, meanwhile the first race of this year's IndyCar (In which the championship series along with the Haas F1 Team in Formula One had been affected by that dreadful American leader's tariff situation back in April last year, especially the imported stuff such as racing cars from Dallara which comes from Italy, & equipment that left drivers, team owners & fans aghast about the US President's decision to impose such baseline tariffs like that, meaning that everything is dear at the moment in terms of the price hike, especially inflation had been skyrocketed such as high prices on tax stuff meaning that they put every duty items to America on ice which would be the worst since the Smoot-Hawley legislation act (For that had been better than the current President of the United States & his tariff policies) from 1930 designed to encourage Americans of staying away from trying to purchase foreign goods, as they guarded American farmers & businesses passed by the late US President Herbert Hoover at the time during the Great Depression a year after the greatest economic downturn had occurred when the entire United States stock market had collapsed in 1929 as many people were jobless, until the Second World War came around a decade later in 1939 where most unemployed people would even end up on the frontlines of the armed forces before it ended in 1945 (A year after the US were unable to hold an election due to that dreadful war that claimed millions of lives in 1944) with a pair of atomic bombs exploded in both Hiroshima & Nagasaki in Japan) season will take place on the streets of St Pete in Florida in the US on March 1st (A week before the Australian GP) with Spaniard Alex Palou attempting of winning an unprecedented 5th IndyCar Series championship, but his rivals like the newly knighted Sir Scott Dixon (Palou's rival & teammate driving for Chip Ganassi Racing (That's Palou's team that he currently races for, but he should've driven for Arrow McLaren SP the year before after he mistakenly signed a contract in 2023 for which was an accident, but he already had a contract with the Chip Ganassi Racing team therefore triggering a contractual dispute between both parties that hasn't resolved for) will have other ideas to beat him, & end his title chances, & last but not least, the opening round of the new Supercars Championship, takes place at Sydney Motorsport Park for the Sydney 500 (Which is a week away until the new IndyCar season, & a fortnight until the next round on the streets of Melbourne (Which hosts the season opening F1 event at the Australian Grand Prix (Adelaide hosted it first, from 1985 until 1995 until Melbourne (Who stole the GP hosting rights from Adelaide according to one of the comments that I vaguely remember from Aunty Tan back in December last year) took over from 1996 until 2019, & since 2022) before New Zealand hosts back to back events such as Taupo first at the former A1GP venue of Taupo International Motorsport Park, then to the South Island for the very first time at the newly upgraded Euromarque Motorsport Park in Ruapuna), as the new champion from last year of twice Bathurst 1000 winner Chaz Mostert who defends his crown in a Toyota Supra with other rivals such as leading Kiwi Matt Payne (The man who dominated the Bathurst 1000 last year with Aussie Garth Tander who has then won it 6 times when they held off the challenge of James Goulding & David Reynolds in the wet at Bathurst that was marred by 7 full course yellow safety car caution periods being brought out, as he became the first New Zealander to win the Great Race in 2 years since the pair of Shane van Gisbergen & Richie Stanaway in 2023 (And is Payne the new Scott McLaughlin? Is he the real deal as he becomes the next Kiwi superstar in the Supercars Championship? Well, I think so), the Ampol RB Racing (Who will return to Ford as part of their resurgence to the top last year for the Blue Oval in terms of parity (Similar to McLaren in Formula One where they dominated the constructors championship 2 years straight in both the year before & last year with Britain's Lando Norris (One of 4 world champions on the F1 grid (3 former & 1 current) this year along with Fernando Alonso (Twice in 2005-06), Lewis Hamilton (7 times in 2008, 2014-15, & 2017-20) & Max Verstappen (4 times from 2021 until the year before) for which will be the first since 2022 where Alonso, Hamilton & Verstappen lined up, but Sebastian Vettel was there racing for Aston Martin until he retired of course (And Lando is taking Vettel's place with the 4 world champions lining up in the 2026 grid won 14 world championships between them) finally coming out on top of course to end the utter dominance of Max who dominated the competition 4 times in a row from 2021, until also the year before) for the first time since 2009 for next season after spending 16 seasons with Holden then Chevy) duo of both Broc Feeney (Who Mostert had him on the ropes during the opening laps of the final race of the season when a crucial error from Feeney, handed Chaz the championship for the very first time as he managed to cling on to the lead until the checkered flag had waved in that historic first ever finals series where Chazzie took control of it as he had taken the advantage in the aftermath of Feeney who made a mistake, & from then on, as the Supercars Championship, was for Chaz's taking) & former champion Will Brown, Tickford Racing's Cameron Waters, & the former champion from 2023 who drives for DJR of Brodie Kostecki, will attempt to end Chaz's aspirations of retaining the title.

So that is my 668th blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 20th of this year, viva Ukraine.

Roll on Down the Highway: My 19th Blog of the year 2026

Well, hi everyone, & welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first in the cricket in New Zealand that the Black Caps (Who had to declare not once, but twice in the 1st & 2nd innings) secure an unlikely win by 323 runs over the West Indies at Bay Oval in Tauranga to take out the test series 2 - 0 thanks to a ton in both innings from New Zealand captain Tom Latham, & a double century by none other than Devon Conway (Who got a ton in the 2nd innings as he was awarded standout player of the match honours) during the first innings, then a fifer from Jacob Duffy (Who was the standout player of the series as the top wicket taker as he gets past Sir Richard Hadlee way back in 1985 as the most wickets taken in all formats by a New Zealand bowler) in the 2nd innings to add to his 4 wickets in the 1st innings as we put them into a strong position to win the 3rd test comprehensively, in which we ended 2025 on a perfect note.

And secondly that I had a cracker of a Christmas there with the whole family at Dad's place where we opened the presents (Including F1: the Movie starring Brad Pitt that I haven't still seen, & the Star Wars Battlefront II PlayStation 2 game was the best Christmas present I've ever had until it turned out to be a disaster when there was a disk read error, meaning that it did not work due to the scratches that the disk has had (Aunty Tan brought the one that was just available in Canada as she said to me) & had our traditional Christmas dinner, but the Northland one in 2023 with the late Carole (Who had her last Christmas here in New Zealand the year before where she was in Dubai in the UAE to be by her bro Zaki's side, & the year after her last Christmas here in Whanganui in 2022), Pops, Kathryn & Ken was the one that I overly impressed the most in all of the Christmases that I have ever experienced.

And thirdly in the rugby that there are 5 potential debutants for the All Blacks could even feature this year such as Corey Kellow, Siale Lauaki, Kini Naholo, Dylan Pledger & Tyrone Thompson even though with our next test scheduled in July against France in the inaugural game of the World Rugby Nations Championship (In that is similar to cricket's Champions Trophy, as well as league's Pacific Rugby League Championships, & football/soccer's Finalissima) on home soil at the new 30,000 seat One New Zealand Stadium in Christchurch (Our first test in that city since 2022 where New Zealand had tasted defeat against Argentina during the Rugby Championship, but France haven't played at that venue since 2013 in which the All Blacks had a comprehensive 30 - 0 drubbing over the French), followed by Ireland at the 50,000 seat Eden Park in Auckland (In which Ireland haven't played at that venue since 2022 before claiming an unlikely test series win after being 1 - 0 down, but the AB's are seeking to extend that unbeaten record to 53 in which the ground is most favourable for the home team in tests), & Italy at the 34,500 Sky Stadium in Wellington (While both Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin & FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton are both forced to sit that one out of hosting a home All Blacks test) also both at home before embarking a 4 match test series (Both in Joburg, & one each in also both Cape Town & at a neutral venue) against South Africa in rugby's greatest rivalry, & after that it's Australia (In which we play both test matches in a home and away series against them, but we're not playing Argentina & the reason why? Is that the last time we have not met them was in 2010), then England away in a chance to avenge the demons from last year as well as Scotland & Wales before the finals takes place at Allianz Stadium Twickenham in London in November 2026.

And finally that I have revealed my fave F1 constructor that I'm supporting, & it's McLaren (I should've gone for RB Racing Bulls because of the constructor that our own Kiwi Liam Lawson who drives for them), but the reason why? Is that it's British, but founded by a late New Zealander named Bruce McLaren who was once part of the golden generation of racing car drivers here in New Zealand during the 1960's along with the late Le Mans winning driver of Chris Amon, & the former world champion from 1967 of the late Denny Hulme (Well, I have mentioned that story before in my blogs like twice like in both 2022 & also the year before, but there has been an update as legendary New Zealand IndyCar driver Scott Dixon (Who has been champion 6 times in IndyCar (2003, 2008, 2013, 2015, 2018 & 2020), as well as he first came to the US way back in 1999 to compete in Indy Lights, a year before becoming champion back in 2000, then he became rookie of the year a year later also back in 2001 (Same year that he won the race at age 20 in Nazareth, Pennsylvania (The Andretti family's home track), & is 2nd on the all-time American Open Wheel racing list behind the great AJ Foyt, with 59 (8 behind him), has been given a knighthood for his services to motor racing as part of the New Year's honours list in our country of New Zealand), but my favourite F1 track would have to be Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (Which is near Mont-Saint Hilaire where Aunty Tan & Rejean currently live) since it appeared on the Gran Turismo 7 Spec III update along with the Yas Marina Circuit located in Yas Island in the United Arab Emirates, because it used to be the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit at Albert Park in Melbourne, Australia as Aunty Tan told me last year during our conversation at Thai Villa on New Year's Eve.

So that is my 667th blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 19th of this year, viva Ukraine.

Let It Ride: My 18th Blog of the year 2026

Well, hi everybody, & welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first that there was a terror attack happening in Australia, as 15 people, including a 10 year old girl, as well as a British rabbi & a holocaust survivor - were murdered when both gunmen for which is a father & son being trained by the ISIS Islamic State terrorist group who both targeted Jewish people attending a Hanukkah celebration as part of a terrorist activity that happened on December 14th last year (Just 2 months after the Gaza war had finished with a ceasefire deal being set up by the United States, but that dreadful invasion that has been going since 2022 is still going as they are not going to find a solution to end that conflict, but if I see a Ukrainian affected by it that I'll show plenty of respect & kindness towards them) at Archer Park beside Bondi Beach in Sydney when it took place in the late afternoon (And there has been an arrest already against the 24 year old guy as he is expected to press criminal charges against him for the mass killing for which is bad (While the guy's dad was shot & killed by police, & I thought I was living in fear & was feeling unsafe because of the incidents that they previously had that I saw on CNN, but it's lucky that I'm not according to Aunty Tan who alluded to me before on December 18th which was a week before the real thing of Christmas due to New Zealand being a safe country (In that the firearm legislations such as the gun control measures seemed to be effective similar to Australia in the aftermath of the tragedy which had been struck with the Christchurch mass mosque massacre back on the 15th of March in 2019 (And it's similar to Aramoana way back in 1990), so too is both Australia (We have good relations to them, except on the sporting field such as rugby, cricket, league & football/soccer) & Canada (The safest country in North America), meanwhile cities around the world such as Berlin, Germany as well as London, UK, & New York City, New York, United States are on high alert (How? Since there is heightened security measures being ramped up all over the place in these cities that are part of the Jewish celebrations that continue right through until Sunday (But there has been an update that the war on hate speech such as antisemitism in Australia, has begun according to the Australian Prime Minister of Anthony Albanese just recently following that serious incident as the state of New South Wales is about to weaponize terror symbols, as well as stamping out on gun violence which is still rare in the country even though with the terror threat level is in fact high, & tweaks to the firearm legislations such as shotguns used in the mass killings being outlawed in that state meaning that it is harder for anyone to access these weapons from now on) along with the memorial service that they just held recently under heightened law enforcement presence (And security has since been upped in the aftermath of the tragic mass murder that the nation was in mourning as it's currently both fighting & tackling abusive speech nationwide as they asked for respect towards Jewish people that there's no place of hatred & spiteful vitriol such as saying mean things like that dreadful American leader for example towards them, & they must stand united against it, like both violent & aggressive conduct for which is a no-no at Pak N Save here in New Zealand who had introduced facial recognition technology so that they can track down & deter the troublemakers (Just like Nigel Christie's adopted son Isaac who got suspended for vaping illegally at a supermarket, according to one of Aunty Tan's comments that I can vaguely recall) when Australia had its 9/11 moment (The tragic Port Arthur shootings took place in Australia way back in 1996 in which Aussies were evoking memories of it that they experienced terror in Australia at Bondi Beach, 5 years prior to the tragedy of September 11th, 2001, also took place in the United States), but the Jewish people are required to be protected species by cops (Police officers) after the incident (And it is important just like that), just like the US President are always protected species by the US Secret Service, then world leaders such as other presidents & prime ministers as well as most important politicians, billionaires, multi-millionaires, & high profile celebs are in fact also protected species by those security managers or protectors I should say) following that tragic incident which was Australia's darkest days since the shootings in Port Arthur way back in 1996 that triggered a war on semi automatic, high powered rifles (And the fatal shootings like these ones are both potentially dreadful & shocking! And I mean, that is disgraceful, because I'm sick of this hell! Stop!), but I would like to acknowledge the victims of the tragic event that happened especially down under in Australia, along with the dreadful Brown University shootings in Rhode Island by a Portuguese national named Claudio Neves Valente who caused the killing of an MIT professor, & took his own life in Salem, New Hampshire at a storage unit to avoid getting captured by authorities, & the shocking double murder of both filmmaker Rob & Michele Singer Reiner in LA, they will be greatly missed (And last year in 2025 is in fact the year of sorrow due to those sombre tragedies that they had, including multiple high profile incidents) even with the flags have been asked to lower at half mast, while they would like to express all their thoughts, prayers & heartfelt condolences go to the victims being involved in such tragic circumstances like this (And yes, it was a hell of these losses indeed, just like the late Carole who was a hell of a loss when she passed away on the 17th of November last year due to drug overdose, as our entire Ngapo & Webb whanau were shocked about her passing, according to Aunty Tan's Christmas message that she delivered to us, as the message reads that both she & Rejean would like to acknowledge the recent passing of the late Carole Webb (I did not know that she was a drug addict until her death, such as the refusal to go on holiday to Rarotonga in the Cook Islands with Pops back in October last year) who was a fun, caring, supportive partner to Pops, a great friend of mine & a loved member of our whanau, she will be greatly missed).

And secondly in gaming that I purchased V8 Supercars 3 (Which was released back in 2006, the year that I first played it briefly in Auckland) on the old PlayStation 2 game along with Need for Speed: Payback at EB Games on the 21st of December (4 days before Christmas) for which I loved it since the bonus codes system were available online (Compared to 2007-10 for which was unavailable, but the game received rave reviews as well as critical acclaim that was compared to both Gran Turismo 4 & the first Forza Motorsport game) because of that game being my faves on the PS2 for which is like & similar to also both Project Cars 3 & Gran Turismo 7 as well.

And thirdly in the sports news that I saw on the Whanganui Chronicle newspaper on the 22nd of December such as Swiss tennis sensation of Stan Wawrinka who announced his retirement from tennis at the end of this year, even though the one time Grand Slam winner is set to compete in the men's ASB Classic due in January after the women (It was Danish women's player of Clara Tauson who was declared the title winner after Japan's Naomi Osaka who withdrew through injury during the women's singles final), but he chose to withdraw due to workload management that he sustained in the United Cup.

And lastly in the rugby department that I also saw on the sports news section of the Whanganui Chronicle as Black Ferns loose forward Layla Sae who is set to miss many of this season through an ACL (Anterior cruciate ligament) injury sustained whilst on duty for Harlequins women in the Premiership Women's Rugby (PWR) competition in England which will see her spend the first half of the season on the sidelines as she continues to recover from that debilitating injury until Sae returns for international duty late in the season in home tests against both the Wallaroos & France.

So that is my 666th blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 18th of this year, viva Ukraine.

Art for Art's Sake: My 17th Blog of the year 2026

Well, what's up guys, & welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first that Kathryn had just left on December 14th from the airport to be back home in Hihi in Northland (I went for a walk with her & Pops at Virginia Lake then had lunch at Parnell's), then Carolyn 'Cryn' Russell who is one of Aunty Tan's friends turned up with her husband Murray when we went to Stellar restaurant, then they left before going to Rutland Arms on December 16th (Finally) where I had a chicken curry there, meanwhile a day later on December 17th, it's Bob & Helen Chong who came to Caroline's Boatshed restaurant where I had steak with fries & salad, then 2 days later on December 19th (A day after me, Pops, Aunty Tan & Rejean had pizza straight from Domino's where I literally enjoyed that) that I finally bought the PlayStation 2 slim console but with controller & power cords so I can play the games that I own already, especially Rugby 08 where I played that old school retro stuff for the first time in 15 years (I last played it in 2010 so I do not have to).

And secondly that I have a journal which is about the trip to Australia back in August 2011 (That's a month before the 2011 men's Rugby World Cup tournament began in New Zealand) that Aunty Tan had found according to Pops filing cabinet, so that's why I wanted to write a journal about my 2nd Australia trip back & forth for which was my recent holiday abroad (Compared to my first which was in Samoa 2005 (A year before Auckland also back in 2006 & the year after Christchurch back in 2004) to date which inspired me of first becoming a blogger, a year later also back in 2012 so that's why I've been doing 665 blogs & counting since the Australia holiday journal that I did, similar to Alisa's journal in the Tekken 6 game (Then later Raven after Alisa Bosconovitch who was the one that she betrayed Lars Alexandersson when she joined forces with Jin Kazama (Who was the CEO & head of the Mishima Zaibatsu at the time when he took over from the late Jinpachi, before Heihachi took over from his grandson before the events of Tekken 7, followed by his father & enemy Kazuya from his abusive dad also before the events of Tekken 8) for the remainder of the Scenario Campaign mode).

And thirdly while that there was a serious incident in Los Angeles, California where the married Hollywood couple of filmmaker Rob Reiner & his wife Michele getting murdered in a stabbing incident at their home with stab wounds by the son named Nick who is expected to face charges of double murder & has already been in custody by the LAPD (And the family of the slain duo are asking for both privacy & respect for which has been requested).

And finally that England's chances of a comeback of winning the Ashes cricket series, has been short lived as Australia were in a overwhelmingly dominant position to retain it, have delivered with an 82 run win during the 3rd test over the English who were slain at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, & I mean what went wrong for England as Mitchell Starc had to break English hearts for the 3rd time in a row in a tense third test in which Will Jacks, Jamie Smith & Brydon Carse resisted when the Aussies are adapting to Travball (Named after Travis Head who produced another ton during the 3rd test as he was always being both the aggressor & is fearless in terms of his style of batting where his offensive play contributed to Head's entertaining, but high scoring performances (And the late Shane Warne posted his tweet about him being a future star in cricket, especially in test level that was back in 2016 that I remember seeing it online) similar to Bazball that had been backfired which marked the beginning of the end (And the Aussies had celebrated for in a hostile way, which there will be a crackdown that had been enforced but issued as they had gone too far, but the team had been asked that they never want to do that again to avoid causing trouble in order to cut hostilities out between them & the English that they got to show respect at all times).

So that is my 665th blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 17th of this year, viva Ukraine.

Tusk: My 16th Blog of the year 2026

Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger (But this is a double post remember, please acknowledge), but first that social media checks upon entering to the United States (For which is a strict, hostile country similar to nationalist Germany in the 1930's to 40's, as well as South Africa during apartheid & the country who started that dreadful invasion since 2022 (And it has been 4 years since that terrible conflict (For which had been brutal, deadly & sadistic meaning that February 24th this year had marked 4 years of that horrible invasion by that autocratic country who started it of invading Ukraine) began when enemy forces descended upon Ukraine (And this is similar to Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith that during the movie that the Galactic Republic would gone on to become the Galactic Empire when they started murdering all but both treacherous members of the Jedi Order known as the execution of Order 66 AKA the Great Jedi Purge (And there were both survivors, such as the late Jedi Grand Master Yoda & the late Jedi Master of Obi-Wan Kenobi (Who got killed in a duel against Darth Vader (The dark lord of the Sith) during the first Star Wars movie) where the Jedi viewed them as traitors during the waning hours of the Clone Wars) for that was unfortunate that there had been millions of casualties during that horrendous but senseless war for which I'm still keeping it clean & respectful to avoid backlash as well as being sensitive to the country who started it (Even Dad told me that it could end if the country who started that dreadful invasion could run out of money or funds I should say) on that matter, but they're not going to find of coming up with that solution of ending that brutal but deadly, prolonged invasion) will have to be mandated in time for this year's Football/Soccer men's World Cup tournament with visitors from 42 countries including New Zealand would be required to do that because it is very similar to a background check of purchasing firearms whether he or she can't be a criminal from legitimately entering that country (And there was an NHL player who is waiting for that immigration clearance to enter that country according to one of the ice hockey games that I saw on TV).

And secondly that there was a Nobel peace prize winner who is a female from Venezuela who fled her home country to evade that travel suspension just to be in Norway there to receive the award due to Venezuela's war on opposition leaders, meanwhile that the Americans had confiscated a ship belonging to the Venezuelans according to that greedy American leader (I hate him, I really hate him because the reason why? Is that he could be my personal public enemy number one, damn that scum! But I always label him as a corrupt & woke politician since I can't stand with that far-right wing conservative people, especially Americans since I'm always a far-left wing liberal type of person, just like Fox is right wing & CNN being left wing) who announced it (And there could be a potential war between the Americans & the Venezuelans that might even be possible, but they haven't decided on that occasion (And there has been an update as 3 days are into the New Year when American forces have swooped in to capture the embattled president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro & his wife who was extradited to the US in New York City for his court appearance in which he pleaded not guilty to potential corruption charges, & is being held in Guantanamo Bay prison for his crimes that he committed (And the latest as the Venezuelan sanctions imposed by the US had been lifted, hence the reason why).

And thirdly that damn, why does it always happen to me? As there has been a war on gangs here in New Zealand, & the reason why? Is because of that strict law measures being introduced to stamp out gangs who gather in public places to physically intimidate & harm or hurt them I should say have been tightened since November the year before in order to keep our Kiwis safe from them according to the National government & their Prime Minister of Christopher Luxon when they successfully won the general election in 2023 (Just like in 2009 that the city of Whanganui that I live prohibits gangs accessing in public places such as cafes & restaurants like the Cobb for example right there), but I feel safe every damn time when I go for my walk every 6 days excluding Sunday being a rest day, & except on rainy days, because of no sign of any gang presence there due to the legislation change by the right wing conservative National Party had signed an executive order reform that curb gang members who access the public by abusing, attacking/assaulting, abducting/kidnapping, or worse than that, killing/murdering them.

And lastly that there has been an unfortunate incident that I saw on CNN such as the fatal shooting at Brown university in Rhode Island during the 2nd day of final examination week for the fall semester with both getting murdered & injured 9 others while the search for the gunman is on according to Rhode Island police (And there has been an update as the man who acted alone, is from Portugal who killed himself just to avoid capture in a storage unit was the same shooter from a IT Tech building for which has been ruled as a suicide according to the police chief instead of him getting shot & killed by police, oh god, that is terrible what happened, but how did he swap number plates just to avoid detection after he had been at a hotel in Boston, Massachusetts since last month renting a car? How? Because of a tipster on Reddit help cops identify the Brown University shooter when IRS criminal investigators played a crucial role in assisting the Feds of tracking down the shooter).

So that is my 664th blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 16th of this year, viva Ukraine.

Listen to the Music: My 15th Blog of the year 2026 (AKA 686 days: The Ballad of Aunty Tan & Rejean)

Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first that both Aunty Tan & Rejean are finally here in New Zealand, then Whanganui 2 days later at last, for the first time since January 24th, 2024 in which they left New Zealand shores to go to Vanuatu, then they headed back home to Canada until December 8th when they arrived in New Zealand in which they have been to New Plymouth to stay at Nigel Christie's place, just 2 days before they headed to Whanganui where our whanau had dinner at St John's Club Elms Restaurant where I had a pasta, then a day later, I was having pork chops with a homemade coleslaw & fried rice with Aunty Tan & Rejean, then Kathryn had just arrived 1 day later at the airport to drop her off at our place to stay for 2 nights, then we went to Thai Villa for a great family dinner where I had a Pad Thai since both Rutland Arms & Caroline's Boatshed were fully booked, & the reason why? Is because of the restaurant goers want to do it before Christmas.

And secondly that the newly crowned Formula One world champion Lando Norris who announced that he'll be running car number 1 next season (The first to do so since Jenson Button back in 2010 when he moved to McLaren after his successful title winning efforts with Brawn GP also back in 2009 (In which they had a kind of fairytale, Cinderella story type of season a year after the Honda Racing F1 Team had closed down due to the global financial economic crisis that they once had in 2008-09 along with A1GP, & both Subaru & Suzuki World Rally teams had pulled out before the WRC season had started) who became Mercedes-AMG since 2010) as he followed the footsteps of the new Supercars Champion Chaz Mostert (The one who ended Broc Feeney's chances of a maiden title in Adelaide during the Supercars Championship finals, then Lando pulled off a Mostert inspired performance during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix that he finally deserved to be the new world champion) who'll be driving a Toyota Supra GR in next year's Supercars Championship season, & others including Will Brown, Brodie Kostecki, Simon Pagenaud, Josef Newgarden, Jamie Whincup, Thierry Neuville, Sebastian Vettel, & Max Verstappen (Who'll change his car number from 33 originally, to 3 which is his old Red Bull teammate Daniel Ricciardo's racing number that he once used since Max who would narrowly fall short of 2 points behind the eventual world champion of Norris last season).

And thirdly in the gaming department that the reason why I want to buy both the digital version of both Need for Speed: Heat, & Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit remastered on the PS4, is that I own both physical copies of the game on the PS4 even though with NFS Heat being cheap due to a discount compared to NFS HP remastered being expensive as a result of the pricing system that they're having.

And finally that the Black Caps go 1 - 0 up in the series following a 9 wicket win over the West Indies at the Cello Basin Reserve in Wellington with 1 test to go (The standout performer of that game went to Jacob Duffy who picked up a fifer in the 2nd innings (And I mean, what a player, what a performance from him (But the 2nd test was blighted or dogged I should say with Blair Tickner picking up an injury whilst attempting to field near the boundary meaning that he's ruled out on the tour to India, along with Mitchell Santner, Kyle Jamieson, Will O'Rourke, Matt Fisher, Ben Sears, Nathan Smith, Muhammad Abbas, & Matt Henry that are part of the casualty ward) as I managed to watch the recorded programme on TV after seeing the result on the sports news section of the Whanganui Chronicle newspaper article on the morning of December 13th last year.

So that is my 663rd blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 15th of this year, viva Ukraine.

NEVER ENOUGH: My 14th Blog of the year 2026

Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first in gaming that the reason why I wanted to get both Tekken 7 (PS4) & Tekken 8 (PS5) digitally because of me really liking them since I already got the physical copies of the game that I purchased in 2020 & in 2024 respectively (Meanwhile the Tekken 7 game that I got digitally had a discount for which was cheap, compared to Tekken 8 which is dear at the moment, but I have been a fan of Tekken since 1998 when I first started playing which was Tekken 3 therefore becoming a lifelong fan of the gaming series, along with Gran Turismo) since I've already got Tekken 3 (Original PlayStation) & Tekken 6 (PlayStation Portable) on modern ports such as both the PS4 (Meanwhile I mainly play that version of Tekken's 3 & 6) & PS5 (But I've got Tekken 2 as well, and I have never played them also on modern ports (While I will be getting Tekken: Dark Resurrection (Which is by far the most successful fighting game on PSP) where I'll be getting both PS4 & PS5 versions (I'll play the PS4 version because it suits me) once it comes out scheduled for the day after St Paddy's Day here in New Zealand on March 18th this year), but there are rumours that Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada is leaving Bandai Namco after 31 years, & the reason why? Is that he cannot cope with his good friend of the late Dead or Alive & Ninja Gaiden producer Tomonobu Itagaki's passing, so that's why Harada wanted to depart from the Japanese multinational gaming publisher right away (And I purchased Soulcalibur III right away on the 19th of December, but I haven't played it despite that I downloaded the PS4 version (And I never play the PS5 version of it), so I have got both games from the Soul series such as the aforementioned Soulcalibur III & my personal fave of mine which is Soulcalibur VI).

And secondly that I literally enjoyed the Christmas parade so far back in December last year because I had to take a heap of photos then (And I had an eventful day as well when I went to EB Games to get more of the PSN card stuff that I always going to buy (But I did purchase it one more time a day later before both Aunty Tan & Rejean get here on December 10th), then played my fave video game of Gran Turismo 7 all day because of the latest update being released, & Pops took me to St John's Club Elms Restaurant where I had a ham steak (The food that Pops is desperately wanted to avoid due to its chemicals that it's got in it) with fries & salad for my main & a cheesecake for dessert where we ended an incredibly beautiful day it was, & now, so here I am writing on my new material of blogs)

And thirdly there has been an update in Formula One at Yas Island in the UAE as it's going British, in 2025! For the first time ever, Lando Norris, is champion, of the world! As the celebrations are on, but there was joy, jubilation, & elation throughout the McLaren camp, especially Norris is finally, on top of the world recently by becoming the F1 world champion for the very first time as well as at last achieving his boyhood dream (The wait is over for him as he made his GP debut in Australia 2019 (Won by Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas in the Mercedes-AMG who is a quintessential Aussie), then his first win came in Miami, Florida the year before, a year before dreams were about to become reality for him as they're was going to be a new world champ last year, & it delivered, but I did not watch the Grand Prix altogether because of Lando who was always going to win the world championship (Where he finished on the podium to settle the score of claiming his first ever world title), & he did because it was inevitable) when he beat the likes of his main championship rival Max Verstappen (Whose reign has brought to an end, especially his utter dominance in Formula 1 where he took charge by first becoming the world champion in 2021 before winning it 3 more times in 2022, 2023 & 2024, until his world championship chances along with Oscar Piastri have been dashed & short-lived I should say after Lando Norris successfully triumphed on top during the season deciding Abu Dhabi Grand Prix) who won the race (But it wasn't good enough to beat Lando & his efforts of becoming the new world champion), & Norris's teammate of Piastri in an epic 58 lap season ending race which was kind of like a heavyweight contest when 203,000 fans showed up at the track to witness Lando Norris & McLaren who made all the correct maneuvers - no mistakes that time as they were in control & from then on, he & his team takes glory by finishing on the podium in a fantastic Grand Prix season, for the first time in 5 years, a new British world champion is crowned! (But I wonder what the headlines would say: LANDO DETHRONES MAX AS WORLD CHAMPION IN ABU DHABI, or more like: DECIDER IN THE DESERT GOES IN THE WAY OF LANDO, or especially: LANDO NORRIS BECOMES 11TH DIFFERENT BRITISH FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMP, or more appropriately: VERSTAPPEN WINS ABU DHABI GP, BUT F1 WC TITLE BELONGS TO NORRIS).

And lastly my final thoughts before Aunty Tan & Rej (Who is an ice hockey mad person just because he mainly watches the NHL stuff (And we have Dad as the league follower (But he loves rugby anyway) & Pops being mainly a rugby follower, while I'm divided between being a rugby & motor racing follower since we have lost a golf & motor racing follower of the late Matt Pine in 2021 due to a terminal illness, a football/soccer follower of the late Leon Benbaruk in March last year as a result of health problems, & a tennis follower of the late Carole Webb (For which I'll be seeing her son Andy & his wife Kelsey again in January this year when they come back to the 'River City' of Whanganui) in November in the same year also due to a drug overdose) arrive in Whanganui here (They are due to arrive on December 8th in New Zealand to stay at Nigel's place in New Plymouth), well, good luck out there, enjoy! (And it has been 683 days as of December 7th last year since I last saw both of them when they left New Zealand shores on January 24th, 2024 so by the time on December 10th that it will be 686 days in fact).

So that is my 662nd blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 14th of this year, viva Ukraine.

My Only Angel: My 13th Blog of the year 2026

Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first that the draw for the 2027 men's Rugby World Cup had been announced (I missed it so I wasn't interested until I found out that in the sports news article of the Whanganui Chronicle as I saw it before recently) as the All Blacks for the first time, will take on the hosts of the Wallabies (Who we haven't played them at a men's Rugby World Cup since 2015 (And the last time we lost to them during the tourney was in 2003 where a Stirling Mortlock try off an intercept (Even Joe Rokocoko tried to chase him, because it was no avail due to his inability of stopping him from scoring that certain 5-pointer), ended our chances of reaching the final which marked a turning point) in that epic final that was by far, the best of all time at Twickenham in that we were winners for our last men's RWC title to date & the only time we managed to win the tournament on foreign soil, even before the South African dominance began in 2019 where they had to win the World Cup after 12 years as part of their resurgence to the top, then they had gone back to back in 2023 to retain the men's Rugby World Cup championship following a controversial final which was the strangest ever (And what was the reaction of the New Zealand crowd? Well they're stunned, stunned silence, & after the game that there was a chorus of boos by our All Black fans rang out in the stadium towards the English referee who took charge in the final therefore showing hostility towards them, especially online where he got abused by the New Zealanders therefore tightening its legislations about hate on social media for which has been no existent now) in pool play (And it'll be the 2nd consecutive men's RWC that New Zealand has drawn in pool play along with the hosts, because it was France first & foremost in which they beat us as they became the first side in history, to defeat the AB's in pool play), but our path doesn't get much easier than that as we are on the same side of the draw as the reigning champions South Africa (Who I label as by far the most smartest rugby team on the planet than any other national rugby teams (As well as the most powerful mainly because of their beefy forward pack), but they are attempting to win the men's Rugby World Cup 3 times in a row, as no side has ever achieved that feat before in history, but the last time the All Blacks had lost in a quarterfinal, it was back in 2007 in which we fell short to France (Including that certain winning try should've been ruled out in the process due to the fact that the pass was way forward, but, no doubt it came forward! It's unbelievable that's been missed) by 2 points at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, & the last time South Africa had lost a quarterfinal, it was in 2011 against the Wallabies where the Boks should've won because of the illegal turnovers from the Aussies that went unnoticed by the referee, & also the last time the South Africans tasted defeat in a men's RWC knockout game was in the semifinal was also back in 2015 against the all-conquering New Zealand side at Twickenham in London) for which has been always a tough nut to crack in terms of their dominance, our likely quarterfinal opponent, along with the French (Who we haven't played them in the semi since 1999 in which the late Jonah Lomu (The greatest rugby player of all-time) wreaked havoc as he scored a double, before the French (Who haven't been to a semifinal since 2011 after losing the quarterfinal 3 consecutive times against the eventual champion All Blacks in 2015 in what was a record margin score at a men's RWC knockout game, then Wales in 2019 after one of their French players had been shown the red card regarding to foul play, & also the eventual champions the Springboks in 2023 at their home tournament) made a just incredible comeback for the ages to down New Zealand like that when they reached the final to claim the biggest upset in international rugby before the Brighton miracle had even happened back in 2015 where Japan pulled off an historic upset win for the ages against the South Africans (And Pops alluded to me before in 2015 or 2016 that the Japanese men in the crowd were getting emotional following that historic boil over) for which is our opponent in the semi if we beat the South Africans of course (If we lose to Australia, we got to avoid the Boks (Who we haven't played against them in the quarters since 2003 in which we knocked them out (And the key highlights of that game was the late Jerry Collins's gargantuan tackle on Thinus Delport that sent shockwaves around the stadium for which was a carbon copy of the Brian Lima hit on Derick Hougaard during the match between South Africa against Samoa in pool play, & that through the legs pass by Carlos Spencer to Rokocoko who scored that simple crucial try which will be remembered for a long, long time that proved to be the game changer) just like the one I wrote before about the one the year before in 2023 until the final where our likely semifinal opponent will be, & it's England (The last time we met the English at a men's RWC, it was in 2019 where we narrowly missed out on a win in Yokohama therefore ruining our big chance for the threepeat in which we came close, but the AB's have never beaten England at rugby's global showpiece event since 1999 during the pool stages).

And secondly the latest in Formula One as McLaren's chances of a favourable result in Qatar have been butchered when they allowed Red Bull's Max Verstappen to win meaning that the World Driver's Championship will be decided in Abu Dhabi in a 3 way battle between Max who puts his title on the line against a pair of McLaren drivers of both World Championship leader Lando Norris, & his Aussie teammate Oscar Piastri (Who thought he got a penalty in Brazil that dropped him out of championship contention, but he is out there to claim the world championship as he seeks to become the first Aussie driver to do so since Alan Jones way back in 1980, compared to Norris that he also seeks to become the first Brit to be crowned the world champion since Sir Lewis Hamilton (Who could even retire due to a form slump that sees him being put out of his misery, but it has been 1,848 days as of December 7th last year since the last time a British driver had been crowned the world champion, but will it go British in 2025 if Norris is crowned champion of the world for the first time ever? We'll soon find out post-race) in 2020, while for Verstappen as he is aiming 5 in a row in order to draw level with the late Argentinian driver of Juan Manuel Fangio (And because he is at 4 at the moment along with a Frenchman & a German), therefore that for the first time since 2010 where more than 3 drivers will challenge for the crown for which is at stake at the season ending Grand Prix at Yas Island in the UAE (A country known for its terrible but wayward human rights record, but it's similar to the IndyCar title during the CART era way back in 1996 where a trio of American drivers of Jimmy Vasser, Michael Andretti, & Al Unser Jr who have all challenged for the championship which had gone in Vasser's way where he beat the likes of both 'Mikey Mike' Andretti & "Little Al/Al Jr' Unser Jr following the conclusion of the season where he finished on a podium where Jimmy's teammate at the time of Italian Alex Zanardi who won the race to claim the rookie of the year award at Laguna Seca in Salinas, California).

And thirdly onto the music stuff that Linkin Park (Who were once on a hiatus for 7 years from 2017 where the late lead singer of Chester Bennington who tragically took his own life until the year before that both drummer Colin Brittain who replaced original member Mike Bourdon, & their astonishing female lead singer of Emily Armstrong joined the band therefore they officially reunited when they released an album called From Zero, that kick-started the Armstrong era Linkin Park, compared to the Bennington era Linkin Park where they released their albums such as from Hybrid Theory back in 2000, to One More Light also back in 2017 (The year that Chester took his own life on his good friend Chris Cornell's birthday on the 20th of July) are finally coming to New Zealand for the first time since 2013 for a one-off show in Auckland due in March with tickets being available (And they are looking forward to perform it in front of these Kiwi fans who haven't seen them since), compared to the Foo Fighters who were last in New Zealand also the year before (6 years after previously went to our shores back in 2018 with Taylor Hawkins who was tragically passed away 4 years later, in 2022) where they performed it with their drummer at the time of Josh Freese (Who got fired by the lead singer & rhythm guitarist Dave Grohl last year, until Ilan Rubin took Freese's place, similar to Metallica who announced that Robert Trujillo was going to be their new bass player back in 2003 after Jason Newsted left the band as he decided to move on 2 years earlier back in 2001 (15 years after Newsted took over from the late Cliff Burton who unfortunately took his own life in a fatal bus crash in Sweden way back in 1986 (And he would've been there should he remain alive, if both Jason Newsted or Trujillo didn't in fact replace him) for 3 shows in Auckland, Wellington & Christchurch, but I have revealed that the only thing I love reggae music is the late Bob Marley & the Wailers because of my personal fave song of mine which is 'Buffalo Soldier', & the reason why? Is Brian FM play him & his songs for that is 6 of them, with others including 'Stir it Up', 'Is This Love', 'Could You Be Loved', 'Three Little Birds', & 'Jamming' are amongst them.

And finally, the latest in the cricket as the 1st test at Hagley Oval in Christchurch between New Zealand, & the West Indies has ended in a draw, rueing missed opportunities for us, especially Justin Greaves who would end up being the not out batter by celebrating an unbeaten double hundred (And there were centuries from our Black Caps batters from Rachin Ravindra & Tom Latham, & there was one from the West Indies from Shai Hope).

So that is my 661st blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 13th of this year, viva Ukraine.

Sandstorm: My 12th Blog of the year 2026

Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first that most Americans are fleeing into different countries such as Canada (For which is safe in North America, compared to Uruguay in South America, then Iceland in Europe for which is the most peaceful country in the world, followed by Mauritius in Africa, as well as Singapore in Asia, & our country of New Zealand in Oceania), Spain, the UAE & Monaco thinking that the United States is a hostile country under the leadership of that greedy American leader due to factors like political polarization, social issues, and a desire for greater safety, with some relocating to countries like Canada and Spain. While reasons for leaving include concerns over political and social divisions, worries about school safety, and the perceived resurfacing of racism and intolerance. As other motivations include seeking economic benefits like tax optimization in places like the UAE or Monaco (And many travellers are avoiding the US for reasons regarding to the hostility of the nation thinking that it's unsafe & dangerous to be in that country).

And secondly that the Springboks (The Kangaroos league team of rugby mainly due to them wearing dark green jerseys) are by far the most disciplined team in the world of any other tier 1 nation in terms of encouraging players to tackle low since the legislations regarding to dangerous, high tackles in rugby such as head contact, have been tightened which began back in 2017, compared to Scotland for which is the worst of them all, & that legislation change has helped South Africa win both Rugby World Cups back to back, & 3 Rugby Championship title wins in 2019, & both 2024 & last year in which have also gone back to back, & games can be won by discipline such as sides whose discipline is far better & improved, wins matches, compared to teams with ill-discipline such as penalties, yellow & red cards, lose matches.

And thirdly that I have not mentioned the news report about British celeb & comedian Alan Carr (The ex-host of the Friday Night Project along with Justin Lee Collins) who has fled to Orlando, Florida in the United States after becoming the UK's most hostile man, as he joins his nephew & his niece to escape from public backlash, ahead of the Celebrity Traitors final in which the former Chatty Man star has been a stand-out on the reality show that's had the whole nation gripped.

And lastly that I was bursting out laughing when guys who wore the First Order stormtrooper costumes playing the Star Wars & Cantina themes during the 2nd Ashes cricket test between Australia & England at the Gabba in Brisbane, & I was like that hey! I might even still be a Star Wars fan, but I have been a long time fanatic of the space opera franchise (And the first time I watched Star Wars was on an old videotape of Return of the Jedi back then when I was living in Raetihi with Dad), but there has been an update in the Ashes cricket as England got resoundingly beaten by the dominant Aussies who picked up the win by 8 wickets (Same as in the first test) as they are 2 - 0 down in the series, but what is their strategy for the English to beat Australia? Well, I have no moral words to describe it, but I love to see England win the next game as well as the series, but they can't because of Australia have always been winning throughout due to their utter dominance, especially the bowling attack led by none other than the champion bowler of Mitchell Starc who is sort of like an prized fighter who is always been the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

Baby I Don't Care: My 11th Blog of the year 2026

Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first that there was an incident involving Tom Curry 'Who knows what he is doing' as the incident in question led to some rather unsavoury but unfavourable scenes between England & Argentina after the game with the Felipe Contepomi who described Curry as a 'bully' backlash accusation as 'laughable' rumbles on (And he could be landed with a lengthy suspension for that fraca on the Argentinian coach by pushing & abusing him in a heated end of the game as tempers flare after the English had won).

And secondly that America's war on AI has begun as new efforts this week in Washington to effectively come down hard on individual states from governing AI have provoked bipartisan backlash erupts over push to stamp out states from regulating & limiting the use of AI that had been enforced by that greedy American leader (And Dad has one called Meta AI that he takes pictures of our photos, especially like the one that I was once a baby or toddler with him during the 90's period for which I saw).

And thirdly that MS Now is facing backlash over reporter's 'beyond sick' National Guard shooting response when Fox New contributor Joe Concha reacts to MS Now reporter Ken Dilanian's comments following both National Guardsmen were shot in Washington by illegal immigrants in one particular incident that was really unfortunate, this is an outrage! A scandal! They should be arrested on the spot! Throw them in jail, & throw away the key! Please, but they needed to be deported for their actions towards the National Guard troops (And the latest that they granted a security boost for the National Guard for further guarding the city of Washington D.C.).

And finally that last year marked 20 years since New Zealand golfer Michael Campbell (One of both Kiwis to have won a golf grand slam along with Sir Bob Charles, but now we have Lydia Ko (Who is female that won an Olympic trifecta of gold in Paris 2024, silver in Rio 2016, & bronze at the delayed Tokyo Games in 2021) as the country's most successful golfer) went on to win the US Golf Open at Pinehurst Golf Club in North Carolina in the United States where the man from Titahi Bay near Wellington (Who is of Māori descent just like his fellow Kiwi golfer Phil Tataurangi) emerged triumphant over rival golfer Tiger Woods during the final round of the championship, in one of the greatest sporting memories of our nation (And before he turned pro, Campbell, Tataurangi & others like Stephen Scahill was part of a victorious New Zealand side that won the prestigious international youth golf tournament called the Eisenhower Trophy way back in 1992 which was held in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada where they finished 7 strokes ahead of the United States, while both Australia & France finish in a tie for 3rd).

She's So High: My 10th Blog of the year 2026

Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first that there was once a story about American actor Will Smith (The star of the Men in Black movies) had been suspended for a decade from attending at the Oscars for that incident involving him assaulting American comedian Chris Rock in 2022, in the aftermath of heckling Rock as he hurled abuse towards him so that's the reason why he got a 10 year suspension for that (And it was during the Oscars that it had marked the 50th anniversary the first Godfather movie came out in cinemas so Francis Ford Coppola signed off by uttering the words "Viva Ukraine" because of the country had been invaded by the country who started that dreadful invasion since 2022 (A year before the Gaza war began in 2023, & lasted until October last year where a peace deal had been set up by that greedy American leader, & that was during COVID times that lasted from 2019 in which the very first case of that disease had been spread at a lab in Wuhan, China therefore triggering a pandemic in March 2020, until it ended in May 2023 that we're now into a post-COVID world), but the latest is there won't be any peace deal even though with that terrible conflict could be extended throughout.

And secondly that last year (2025) was a turbulent year in terms of mediocre standards such as the return of the greedy American leader (Who I personally bear hatred towards him along with my Mum & Rejean just because he is such a bully (And I'm always getting intolerant to him & their other peoples cultures, especially the Americans, thus making the greedy American leader being my public enemy number 1) when he always said mean things towards people (And is he trying to influence the most controversial late German leader? (The one who murdered millions of Allied people during World War II) Mainly due to the fact that he is of German descent), even though with the rise of conservatism in the US, & around the world being on the move, especially here in New Zealand that we're currently influencing) to the White House for the first time since he left office in 2021 when he introduced tariffs for which the country is crippled by imports, & their war on immigration that Hispanic people had been affected by the change of legislation by setting up an anti-Immigration task force as the US is tightening their laws on immigration in which they turned into nationalist Germany during the 1930's (And how bad is it there? Well, many travellers are avoiding the country best described as the most hostile), then tragedies occurring such as disaster had happened in the new year (Such as multiple incidents in the United States such as the ones in New Orleans, & Las Vegas, as well as the wildfires spread across Los Angeles, & civil unrest regarding to their anti-immigration stance), then the terrible conflict that has still been around since 2022, & the Gaza war had ended in October with a peace treaty deal signed by the United States, & the rise of women's sports, especially in England such as the retention of the Women's Euro in football/soccer, as well as the Women's Rugby World Cup victory for which was the biggest women's rugby tournament ever.

And thirdly that the poster for the next Football/Soccer men's World Cup had been pulled due to a strong negative reaction from fans for which the sport's governing body FIFA were having a rough start in November, so poor old FIFA as the football/soccer governing body's official campaign unfortunately had to be removed as a result of backlash from the fanatics (And oh, it is a shame out there, absolute shame).

And lastly that there was a rugby related story about French legend Sebastien 'Seabass/The Caveman' Chabal who can't remember any test matches that he was involved in which he appeared 62 tests for his country of France, mainly due to amnesia that he had head injuries before whilst playing the game of rugby although thinking about his brain & memory for which he is like a 90 year old due to the brain trauma that he had before, just like former All Black Carl 'Zarg' Heyman did that he cannot remember anything once he hung up the boots according to his autobiography 'Head On' that he released in 2023.

So that is my 658th blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 10th of this year, viva Ukraine.

P.S. And the motor racing fraternity there in the United States is in mourning as former NASCAR driver for 20 years competing in the 2002 to 2022 NASCAR Cup Series seasons of Greg 'The Biff' Biffle who has tragically passed away in a fatal plane accident that took the life of him & his family, but they already sent thoughts, prayers & heartfelt condolences go to his loved ones who is gone then, rest easy.

Nancy Boy: My 9th Blog of the year 2026 (AKA Waitangi day special)

Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger (And kia ora but happy Waitangi day to you all here in our country, especially our Kiwis who are home & abroad as we celebrate the signing of the treaty in 1840 which happened about 186 years ago in that we became independent from the British thus creating New Zealand's national day (It was once New Zealand day from 1973 to 1975 before reverting it to our current name that we always use), but first in the cricket that I was watching Cricket's Greatest Blunders & Wonders show that my 3 favourite parts of the programme were Pakistan dropping 5 catches inside a day against Australia way, way back in 1995 as part of the fielding mishaps segment, then Indian bowler Ajit Agarkar getting dismissed 5 ducks in a row during India's tour of Australia also way, way back in 1999-2000 (It was actually 7 straight during Australia's tour of India way back in 2001) also as part of the ducks segment, & Curtly Ambrose's incredible 7fer against Australia at the WACA way, way back in 1993 where the last time the West Indies would gone on to win the Frank Worrell trophy series against Australia as part of with the ball segment.

And secondly that New Zealand rugby legend Sean Fitzpatrick revealed his all-time All Blacks XV such as Tony Woodcock at loosehead prop, then Dane Coles at hooker, followed by Olo Brown at tighthead prop, while the 2 locks are Brodie Retallick & Sam Whitelock, while rounding out the loose forward trio are Michael Jones, Richie McCaw & Zinzan Brooke, then the halves combo would be Aaron Smith at halfback then Dan Carter at first five, as well as the midfield pairing consists of both Ma'a Nonu & Conrad Smith & finally, the outside backs would be by far the unstoppable force in world rugby of the late Jonah Lomu on the left wing position, while Ben Smith gets the nod at right wing while the fullback will most definitely be Christian Cullen.

And thirdly that I'm taking a week off from blogging on the weekend of the 29th to 30th of November, in light of & as a mark of respect of the late Carole Webb who was gone on November 17th last year because of me having to deal with our whanau tragedy just like the late Nan did a decade ago back in 2016 on January 6th when she passed away as a result of a terminal illness (But I'll be returning to doing blogs starting from December 6th, same day as Carole's Memorial lunch at Frank Bar).

And finally onto the gaming stuff as an expansion pack for F1 25 has been confirmed with the DLC pack confirmed to be this year's Formula One World Championship season for which will feature season updates, as well as new loopholes being introduced in terms of car design (They're getting rid of the DRS system that had been used from 2011, & replaced it with an IndyCar inspired push to pass system), plus the new track on the streets of Madrid in Spain called the Madring for which will be joining the calendar (Although there had been rumors/reports that it will not appear as part of the F1 25 2026 season expansion pack altogether), replacing the Emilia Romagna event in Imola, & the introduction of the Cadillac F1 Team from the United States as the 11th team on the grid with 22 cars taking part for the first time since 2016 & the new Audi F1 Team being brought in as replacement for the KICK Sauber F1 Team, even though with the developers are focusing next year as their main reason why that they'll be developing the next F1 video game (And it'll be the first game since F1 2015 to feature more than one season throughout).

So that is my 657th blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 9th of this year, viva Ukraine.

P.S. And the political fraternity here in New Zealand is in mourning as former activist during his younger years, & mayor of Waitemata City from 1983 until 1989, then Invercargill from 1993 until 1995, & 1998 until 2022 of Sir Tim Shadbolt who was the longest serving mayor of our country has recently passed away aged 78, so they already sent all their thoughts, prayers, & heartfelt condolences go to the whanau & his loved ones, may you rest in love.

ManGetOut: My 8th Blog of the year 2026

Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first in the gaming department that I recently purchased the PSP version of Tekken 6 on both versions of the PS4 (The version that I mainly play) & the PS5 (Never played that version before) on the PS5 console where it's got that rewind feature meaning that you have to go back to correct that certain error just like in the Tekken 3 game that I already own, but I mainly play the 4 characters such as the current main protagonist of Jin Kazama (A traditional Kyokushin Karate-ka (Although his fighting style used to be Mishima Style Fighting Karate in Tekken 3, then abandoning it in favour of his current fighting style before the events of Tekken 4) who is an anti-hero of that game when he took over as the CEO of Mishima Zaibatsu from the clutches of the late Jinpachi Mishima at the end of Tekken 5), Lars Alexandersson (The Swedish Tekken Force officer & Yggdrasil rebel leader who is one of the new characters of that game with the fictional Tekken Force Martial Arts being his fighting style that is a blend of Shorinji Kempo karate, military close-quarters combat, and acrobatics, emphasizing speed, quick reversals (Like his signature backflip kicks and stomps), and flashy, unpredictable moves, though some find his techniques overly flashy and impractical for real combat, focusing on style over raw power. He uses dynamic entries, knife-hand punches, and lightning-infused attacks (Representing his Mishima bloodline energy) to pressure opponents with quick, high/low mix-ups and powerful launchers), as well as a skilled female martial artist from China who is a practitioner of the Baguazhang & Piguaquan fighting styles of Ling Xiaoyu, & the female astrologist from an unknown nationality who is an ally of Jin Kazama in the later Tekken games such as Tekken 8 of new character Zafina (And I also play the 2 female rivals of schoolgirls Asuka Kazama (The one who hails from Japan utilizing Kazama style Traditional Martial Arts) & Lili (A young lady from Monaco who utilises Monegasque-Gymnastic Street Fighting Style), & both male friends from the United States such as Marshall Law (Who is an American of Chinese descent, & is a Jeet Kune Do practitioner based on the famous late Chinese-American martial artist Bruce Lee) & Paul Phoenix (The one whose fighting style is Integrated Martial Arts based on Judo).

And secondly onto the music related stuff as the name of the band of the Foo Fighters comes from a Second World War term used by the pilots of the Allied forces for UFOs (Or unidentified flying objects, & I did not know the name UFO exactly came from), so the lead singer & rhythm guitarist of that band of former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl chose the name of his band due to the fact that he was in a UFO phase at the time, & found the term to be a fitting name to be honest, despite later joking that it was a one being rather stupid to say the least (He used to live in Virginia then Washington D.C. during the days of the Cold War that he experienced with).

And thirdly that it's is going to be a busy December indeed last year that I've put stuff on the whiteboard such as the late Carole's memorial lunch being set up at Frank Bar on December 6th at 12pm (Andy & Kels will be here on time along with the late Carole's mates of Gill & CJ, & possibly Kathryn because I thought she was going to turn up here on either March or April this year, but she didn't turn up to attend a funeral of her friend who passed away as a result of a terminal illness (Meanwhile Zaki came along with Martin to attend their sister's memorial service back up in Auckland), then the annual Whanganui Christmas Parade taking place at 2pm a day later on Sunday, December 7th, a day before Aunty Tan & Rejean's arrival to New Zealand on December 8th (10th here in Whanganui), & last but not least, Christmas day (AKA the real thing for which is 27 days away as of November 28th last year) is happening on December 25th for which will be my fave time of the year along with my birthday on June 7th, 2 days after Dad & 3 days before Aunty Tan's, & our first without the late Carole (She was last here at Dad's place during Christmas time in 2022, then she wasn't here in Whanganui in both 2023 when she was with me & Pops in Northland, & in 2024 that she was in the UAE with her bro Zaki).

And lastly in the motor racing department as New Zealander Liam Lawson will in fact remain at RB Racing Bulls for next season as he is joined by his new teammate of Britain's F2 star & CTFROC champion Arvid Lindblad who takes the race seat previously occupied by the Red Bull bound Frenchman Isack Hadjar who joins 4 time world champ Max Verstappen as his new teammate for this year (Although Lindblad is of both Indian descent through his mum & Swedish through his dad).

Today's Song: My 7th Blog of the year 2026

Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first in the music department that the Foo Fighters have released a new song that came out in October last year called 'Asking for a Friend', for which the song has a much darker tone than 'Today's Song' according to that certain Wikipedia page that I saw, & is the first with new drummer Ilan Rubin being involved on drums to a Foo Fighters song.

And secondly in rugby related news such as the Women's Rugby World Cup winning player for the England Red Roses women of winger Abby Dow who announces her retirement from playing aged 28, it had been confirmed on the 27th of November last year as she was one of the outstanding finishers of her generation, with Dow scoring a half century of tries just like her English teammate Jess Breach in just 59 caps for her country, but she has an engineering degree & intends to make that her career according to the newspaper article taken from Whanganui Chronicle.

And thirdly that Aston Martin have appointed a new team principal for this season, & it's Adrian Newey who is the star designer & top technical boffin formerly from Williams, McLaren & Red Bull as he replaces Andy Cowell who will assume into a strategy role as the Silverstone based constructor announced the senior management restructuring in a statement ahead of the next Grand Prix event in Qatar for which hosts the penultimate championship of last season, before Abu Dhabi hosts the season ending event as Newey, who won 12 drivers (First Nigel Mansell, then Damon Hill, Jacques Villeneuve, Mika Hakkinen twice, Sebastian Vettel 4 times, & Max Verstappen 4 times) & 13 constructors championships for 3 different teams, joined Aston Martin from Red Bull earlier last year as a shareholder & a managing technical partner of the team also according to the Whanganui Chronicle newspaper article that I saw.

And finally in the gaming department as Gran Turismo 7 have finally released the largest update in the game's history with 2 new circuits including Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Canada, & the Yas Marina Circuit in the UAE (And I love them both), & 8 new cars that turned gamers heads including my 4 faves, such as the Ferrari 296 road car, then the Renault Espace F1, as well as the GT3 version of the Ferrari 296, & perhaps, the most significant one of this lot, the Gran Turismo F3500-B for that is inspired by early 90's Formula One machinery just like the F3500-A for which that latest GT7 update (For which includes the Power Pack DLC that costs NZ$49.99, but I managed to unlock the Ford Mustang 2015 American Racer car (Which is inspired by Trans-Am racing in America, but the option of both the spoiler & bodywork comes from NASCAR, & it is powered by a V8 engine just like Trans-Am, NASCAR, & the Supercars Championship therefore the Mustang is America's last true Muscle car since both the Dodge Challenger, & the Chevy Camaro had gone obsolete & extinct) that I unlocked it, then bought it 4 times) would have to be by far, the greatest gaming updates of all time! Especially as a gamer indeed for that one will be that I have ever played of my whole life in the gaming history books (And it is a perfect match for me).

So that is my 655th blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 7th of this year, viva Ukraine.

Return of the Mack: My 6th Blog of the year 2026

Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first in the rugby department such as Dutch born AB's rookie Fabian Holland (The one who learnt the English language by listening to Justin Marshall's commentary, & lived in our country for 5 years (He went to Christchurch Boys High where he studied & played rugby there, & once he left high school that he moved to Dunedin in 2021 a year before making his Super Rugby Pacific debut for the Highlanders in 2022) before becoming eligible last year when he made his test debut against France in Dunedin (But there was once a story about him as the man born in Alkmaar who witnessed the All Blacks sevens when they were doing a training session in the Netherlands back in 2014 that aspired him to become a rugby player) who had recently won World Rugby's breakthrough XV's player of the year (While the men's XV player of the year went to by far the best hooker in world rugby of Malcolm Marx (It used to be our own Dane Coles (The best hooker New Zealand ever produced because I thought it was Sean Fitzpatrick) before Marx took over from him since he has gone on to become South Africa's best hooker since the days of John Smit) of the world champions South Africa (Who had been crowned the team of the year because they ruled the rugby world this year as they secured back to back Rugby Championships, while the World Rugby men's XV gong went to Pieter-Steph du Toit (Player of the game against New Zealand during that dramatic 2023 men's Rugby World Cup final for which was the strangest ever due to a red card by our All Blacks skipper at the time (After originally being given a sin binning offence & on report before it was upgraded to a send off offence) & a no try decision against New Zealand due to a knock on in the scrum which was the most controversial that both the English referee & the English TMO fell victim to online hate therefore triggering a war on abuse on social media which is kind of like free speech as well as hate speech that has the rugby world crying red card for which was dreadful & shocking according to the estimates such as the previous blogs that I did) in 2024 who is the South African Dupont, but it's the 2nd straight year that a Springbok player had won the top award (Frenchman Dupont won it in 2021, then Irishman Josh van der Flier claimed it in 2022, & our own All Black Ardie Savea in 2023 before it was du Toit in 2024 (Who also won it back in 2019) & Malcolm Marx last year), as he beat the likes of Australia's Joseph Aukuso-Sua'ali'i, South Africa's Ethan Hooker, & young Englishman Henry Pollock (But we must be a Savea because of the fact that the rugby world is full of Duponts & du Toits just like the political world must be a Zelensky as there is a life full of that greedy American leader & the leader who started that dreadful invasion since 2022).

And secondly that the release date of the Mortal Kombat 2 movie (Sequel to the 2021 film Mortal Kombat) starring New Zealander Karl Urban (One of my fave Kiwi movie stars along with Temuera Morrison (The former Shortland Street, Once Were Warriors & Star Wars Episodes II: Attack of the Clones & III: Revenge of the Sith actor who is the presenter of the TV programme called Earth Oven with Temuera Morrison), & is the one who appeared in both LOTR: the Two Towers & the Return of the King movies as Eomer, as well as the 2005 film that came out of Doom as John 'Reaper' Grimm that he appeared alongside American pro wrestler turned film star Dwayne Johnson) as the world famous American action movie star Johnny Cage due to come out in November last year, had been changed to May this year instead throughout.

And thirdly into American politics that damn, why there has been a war on flag burning in the United States back in August last year? (Oh, hell! I did not need to see that!) Just because that dreadful American leader had signed an executive order therefore tightening the legislations regarding to desecrating the American flag thinking that it's anti-American stuff for which is prohibited (Well, it's sort of like America's war on abortion when the supreme court overturned Roe v Wade in 2022 therefore the Americans were in fact, weaponizing on abortion by prohibiting it meaning that it has been outlawed on that occasion).

And lastly that I had a great time at Frank Bar during the memorial lunch honouring one of my close friends of the late Carole Webb as I was there along with Pops, Carole's son Andy (Who I'll be seeing him this month), Kelsey (I'll be seeing her along with her husband also this month), Dad, Raewyn, Raewyn's daughter, Bryan, Viv, Gill & CJ (But unfortunately Kathryn could not make it as she opted to pull out of the last minute as she had to take care of her terminal illness stricken friend who is about to pass away anytime back in Northland), but I'm looking forward to the Christmas parade for that is due on December 7th last year scheduled for 2pm until 4pm, as well as seeing Aunty Tan & Rejean return to New Zealand shores for the first time since 2024, & Christmas coming up which is due on December 25th with a dinner at my old flat (And the pressies that I'm getting is money from Pops & the Brad Pitt F1 movie on Blu-ray from Dad that he's already got it for when he gives it to me).

So that is my 654th blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 6th of this year, viva Ukraine.

Voodoo Child: My 5th Blog of the year 2026

Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first in rugby that I've been rewatching the games between New Zealand & Wales from both way back in 2003 during the men's Rugby World Cup during the final pool game where there was a capacity crowd at Stadium Australia in Sydney, Australia, as there was a decent day for wingers such as both Joe Rokocoko & Doug Howlett bagging 2 tries each in a high scoring affair that both sides scored 90 points, & the one back in 2010 where we had our penultimate match at that ground of Carisbrook in Dunedin (The last time the AB's played at that ground was in 2011 in our pre-Tri Nations test against Fiji (For which the match had been scheduled to play in Christchurch at Lancaster Park for which was called off due to damage caused by the earthquake, so they had to move it to Dunedin instead at the Brook) that served as a fundraiser for the Canterbury earthquake appeal), as well as the last planned test at the House of Pain, a year before Forsyth Barr Stadium opened their doors back in 2011 for the men's Rugby World Cup tournament where we had our most dominant performance at that Carisbrook ground in anticipation of our last test of the year against the Welsh at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

And secondly that I have revealed the story of my late close friend of the late Carole Webb that she was a tender loving caring lady just like the late Nan (Who would swim lengths of the swimming pool at the Splash Centre just like Carole does), then she always follows tennis every time we watch TV (And she likes rugby as well unlike the late Nan who would never ever watch rugby, but the last time I actually saw Carole before her passing was on the 9th of November where she came here to our place to watch the Scotland-AB's rugby test on TV), as well as she was such a great cook like making curries indeed (The last meal that she made for us, especially me & Pops was really decent according to the estimates), & of course having the sole child which is her son Andy (Who is heartbroken along with his wife Kelsey about it after Carole had passed, so too are her brothers Martin & Zaki as well as Martin's wife Leyla, Martin & Leyla's son Marat, Zaki's wife Aysha, Zaki's & Aysha's son Yasser & Zaki's & Aysha's daughter as well as Yasser's sister & Marc's wife Areje), but my last thoughts about her? Well, god bless her for all of her life that has been endured, god bless Carole.

And thirdly that the International Olympic Committee had introduced a clamp down on transgender athletes, thinking that it's unfair as I told Pops about it according to the Whanganui Chronicle newspaper article that I saw, even though with the Milan-Cortina Winter Games are about to, & due to get underway this year in February (And it was in February last year that the greedy American leader had signed an executive order that stamps out on any transgender athletes from competing under a current policy, even though with the IOC has shifted the responsibility for setting specific eligibility criteria to individual sports federations, moving away from a previous focus solely on testosterone levels).

And finally in cricket related news such as the latest in the Ashes as England had been humiliated by the dominant Aussies (Although the star of that team went to pace bowler Mitchell Starc who played a starring role as both Josh Hazlewood & regular captain Pat Cummins (Who'll be available for the 2nd test in Brisbane at the Gabba) not being there to grab his first seven fer for that has been a masterclass when he got 7 for 58 in 12.5 overs during the first innings as England (Who thought that they should've won when the Aussies were on the ropes) were bowled out for 172) by 8 wickets as they go 1 - 0 up in the Ashes series following the 1st test in Perth (And I watched it, but I didn't watch the rest of the test since Pops isn't even a cricket follower (He's mainly into rugby, not league), unless he watches a match involving New Zealand).

So that is my 653rd blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 5th of this year, viva Ukraine.
