All I Wanna Do/Every Day Is a Winding Road/My Favourite Mistake: My 52nd blog of the year 2025 (AKA in memory of 'The Prince of Darkness', Ozzy Osbourne)

Well, hi everybody, & welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first that the rock & metal fraternity is in mourning as rock legend & lead singer of the famous UK rock band of Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne has passed away recently mainly due to health issues caused by drugs & alcohol before, during & later on in his career so all thoughts, prayers & condolences go to the family & his loved ones, including his wife Sharon, his son Jack & his daughter Kelly of the great humble man who is known as 'The Prince of Darkness' (And privacy has been requested in which they're asking for respect towards the Osbourne family in this emotional, but hard time as I heard on Brian FM on the morning of July 23rd this year, but I did not know the news about Ozzy passing away until that morning), but my fave memories of him was watching on TV performing live with his band at the 2022 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in Birmingham (His & the band Black Sabbath's hometown), & his cameo appearance in the Austin Powers in Goldmember movie (For who I've seen the film (I've last seen it in January last year, but I'll be watching it in December this year when both Aunty Tan & Rejean are here) for which was the number 1 movie here in New Zealand way back in 2002 (Same year that the Canadian rock band of Nickelback reached the top of the New Zealand charts with that infamous single 'How You Remind Me', then the New Zealand Warriors first made it into the NRL grand final in which we fell short on that occasion against the Sydney Roosters led by it's rugby league legend of Brad 'Freddy' Fittler, as well as Nathan Astle hitting a double ton for which was the quickest against England in Christchurch in a cricket test that resulted in a losing effort, & last but not least, the Wallabies had last won the Bledisloe against the All Blacks in Sydney) along with Sharon, Jack & Kelly, rest in power (RIP).

And secondly that I have created both skaters on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 game that I got already (And I have got every skater video as of the 23rd of July because today was both Andy Anderson (A Canadian skateboarder who is an helmet safety advocate & a modern day iteration of Mike 'Mike V' Vallely just like Michelangelo (AKA Mikey) from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles who takes Wolverine's place as well as the Doom Slayer (Formerly Doom Guy) & Revenant both making an appearance as they take over both Star Wars characters such as Darth Maul (Who appears on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3) & Jango Fett (Who appeared on THPS 4) & Brandon Cole 'Bam' Margera (Who is recently retired as of today, then he wasn't slated to originally appear in the remake, but he managed to when the skateboarding legend himself of Tony Hawk who intervened by asking Bam (Whose brother Jesse who is better known as Jess is a band member of the stoner rock band CKY as the drummer known for their song '96 Quite Bitter Beings' that appeared on both the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 & the remake that came out recently which is THPS 3 + 4) to make an appearance) such as the 2 fictional female real life social media personalities of both Danielle Johnson (Who I named her after NZ actress Danielle Cormack while the surname is inspired by pro wrestler slash movie star Dwayne Johnson as she's based off Devon Jenelle as she is originally from Austin, Texas, but she is currently based in Washington, D.C., & has a pet dog named Madeleine who is effectually known as Maddie, & she used to be a soccer player during her youth & high school level (While her favourite sports are both basketball & tennis) & Katrina Smith (Who I also named after the actress who appeared on Shorty Street Katrina Devine while her surname is also inspired by Agent Smith from the Matrix as she is based off Kira Shannon as her hometown is Boston, Massachusetts, because she is now residing in Miami, Florida to further enhance & extend her social media career, & if she remained or I should say stayed in Boston that her job or work opportunities would be further limited) as replacements for Private Carrera (Who appeared on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3) & Daisy (Who only appeared on THPS 4) respectively since both original characters can't appear on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 remake, but I've created the remaining 2 skaters such as Christian Cooper (Who I've named that fictional skater after the British film star of Christian Bale (American Psycho, Reign of Fire, Equilibrium, the Dark Knight trilogy & Terminator: Salvation), while the surname is inspired by the American movie star of Bradley Cooper (He appeared in the Hangover trilogy, American Hustle (Whom he appeared alongside Bale), the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, American Sniper & A Star Is Born) & Connor Brady (Who I also named another male skateboarder after Canadian ice hockey player Connor McDavid who currently plays for the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL, while the surname is also inspired after American gridiron legend who once played in the NFL of Tom Brady (New England Patriots & Tampa Bay Buccaneers) who are fictional males which drew inspiration by real life rockstars such as the late Chris Cornell from both bands of Soundgarden & Audioslave who was from Seattle, Washington, & the late Chester Bennington from Linkin Park whose hometown is Phoenix, Arizona respectively to add to both fictional female American skateboarders based off female social media influencers such as Devon Jenelle & Kira Shannon that I've made already.

And thirdly that it's been 2 years since the end of the COVID pandemic in 2023 during the month of May which began in March 2020 (4 months after the very first case of COVID was discovered at a laboratory in Wuhan, China for which was the epicenter for it, but we managed to survive the brunt force of it, especially me & Pops), 5 months before the Gaza war began on October 7th when Israel began to invade Hamas, & 15 months after that dreadful invasion began since 2022 on February 24th for which I wanted it to be as a sustainable peace settlement to avoid being offended by the country who started it by still keeping it clean because it is sensitive & objectionable due to backlash about it from Pops himself.

And finally that the All Blacks open their account in the Rugby Championship with a win against Los Pumas at Estadio Alberto Mario Kempes in Cordoba (With both Sevu Reece & Samisoni Taukei'aho getting doubles each while the most standout player of the game would have to be Ardie Savea of course, showcasing why he is our main talisman in the team, but they have lost one of the All Black locks of Patrick Tuipulotu due to a minor facial fracture that could be all but ruled out of the next test in Buenos Aires along with Anton Lienert-Brown who had to be yellow carded for a head on head collision then subbed off due to what appears to be a head knock that ended his test as he's going through the head injury protocols), but the biggest headlines would have to be the Wallabies (Who had their captain Harry Wilson providing a double before leaving the field with an injury, but the Lions series must've helped Australia (Even though their coach Joe Schmidt must've being pleased by most Aussie rugby critics nonetheless (While one Wallaby player that he is the new Sonny Bill Williams is Joseph Sua'ali'i who was a former league player for the Sydney Roosters & a Toa Samoa rep in 2022 during the delayed 2021 Rugby League World Cup where Samoa reached the final (As they became the first Pacific Island nation to do so) following a Stephen Crichton (The former Penrith Panthers player now playing for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL) field goal knocked England (Who were gutted when their chances of advancing through to another final slipped away as they were attempting to get out of their own halfway line until one of the players passed it forward, therefore handing possession to Toa Samoa who were in a good position to slot the drop kick) out of the semi final as the Samoans made rugby league history of at last, in one of international rugby league's greatest ever matches of all time, as well as the biggest upsets in a game of league internationally, 2 years before making the decision to switch to rugby where he made his Wallabies debut against England with a win last year, even before he played Super Rugby Pacific where he played for the NSW Waratahs this year) toughen themselves up according to the comment that I remember from Dad telling Pops about it, even though they lost the series against the British & Irish Lions (Who won 2 - 1) despite winning the 3rd & final test in Sydney at least) beating the world champions Springboks after being 22 - 0 down as they scored 38 unanswered points in a historic win for the ages for which is the best rugby game I have ever seen not involving New Zealand in 2 years (Since 2023 where Fiji had a historic boil over against England in a pre-men's Rugby World Cup test), & is the Wallabies first win on South African soil since 2011 (For which was 14 years ago), & their first in the city of Joburg in 62 years (That was in way, way long ago, in 1963), so let's relive the last 40 minutes of the test:

Second Half Begins - 40'
South Africa 22, Australia 5
We have 40 minutes to go at Ellis Park Stadium

Harry Wilson Scores! Wallabies Clawing Back - 42' (2 MINUTES LATER)
South Africa 22, Australia 12
Harry Wilson breaks through a stunned Springboks line and scores within a few minutes of the start of the second half.

James O'Connor puts away the conversion and the Wallabies are back in this game.

Wallabies Holding Firm - 53' (11 MINUTES LATER)
South Africa 22, Australia 12
Both teams are getting warned in the scrum, so yellow cards could start flying soon.

Meanwhile, the Wallabies are holding on and are within striking distance with plenty of time to go.

Much of the Boks' starting lineup has been taken off, including Siya Kolisi, but of course they are one of the deepest international teams in the world.

Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii Intercepts, Scores! - 58' (5 MINUTES LATER)
South Africa 22, Australia 19
What a moment, as the young Wallabies star Joseph Aukuso-Suaalii scores after he intercepts a pass between the Boks.

Australia is within one score of taking a lead in this game, the opening Rugby Championship match.

James O'Connor, after a cold start, makes the conversion.

Harrowing for the Springboks fans.

Wallabies Scores Again! Pull Ahead! - 63' (5 MINUTES LATER)
Australia 26, South Africa 22
Ellis Park Stadium has gone silent as the Wallabies pull ahead of the heavily favored Springboks.

Harry Wilson scores his second try of the game, as the Boks defense has crumbled in the last three Aussie tries.

James O'Connor makes the conversion.

Max Jorgensen Scores! Wallabies Surging! - 67' (4 MINUTES LATER)
Australia 33, South Africa 22
What an absolute second-half thrashing from the Wallabies, as the Springboks have yet to score after the break.

The boo-birds are out in Ellis Park as Max Jorgensen takes it across the line.

The game well in hand for Australia at the moment.

Massive Aussie Win Possible - 72' (5 MINUTES LATER)
Australia 33, South Africa 22
This would be one of the biggest Wallabies wins in some time, and they have about eight minutes to hold on.

The Ellis Park crowd, and even the South Africa announcers, seem absolutely stunned.

Wallabies Score AGAIN! - 75' (3 MINUTES LATER)
Australia 38, South Africa 22
The Wallabies are going to win this game. What an incredible upset ahead.

Tom Wright scores this time.

Wallabies Notch Massive Result vs. Springboks
Final: Australia 38, South Africa 22
The Wallabies have done it!

The Aussies upset the Springboks, keeping them from scoring in the second half as they clawed back try after try.

Australia wins at Ellis Park for the first time since 1963.

So that is my 628th blog of the year 2025 (MMXXV) & my 52nd of this year, viva Ukraine.
