Hi, Kia Ora...welcome to my 26th birthday that I am blogging today. Seriously!?
It was today during my birthday that I had ham & eggs on toast for breakfast but 1st Pops gave me the bonus which is $100 so I now have $389 & 50 cents so I'm still saving up to buy an F1 2017 game on the PS4 & Aunty Tania & Rejean rang to me to wish happy birthday as well as Sherry while Pops took the orange Citroen to Ahsley's at Total automotive so we went on a bus so we got off at the bus stop at Trafalgar Square so we got the car back & we went to Japanese Kitchen Wa where I had a miso soup & a bento box so we went to The Warehouse to get 2 new hoodies then we went back home where I painted the rugby gnome & had afternoon tea & so here I am, doing my blog on my birthday.
And the British & Irish Lions have named their team to take on the Blues at Eden Park (I will be watching that game on TV because it's on Sky Sport 1 so I've got that programme on record after I get back to Caroline's that I'm going tonight) & would you believe it, they have made 15 changes so far so here is the starting lineup anyway:
1 (Loose head prop): Jack McGrath (Ireland/Leinster)
2 (Hooker): Ken Owens (Captain, Wales/Scarlets)
3 (Tight head prop): Dan Cole (England/Leicester Tigers)
4 (Lock): Maro Itoje (England/Saracens)
5 (Lock): Courtney Lawes (England/Northampton Saints)
6 (Blindside Flanker): James Haskell (England/Wasps)
7 (Openside Flanker): Justin Tipuric (Wales/Ospreys)
8 (Number 8): CJ Stander (Ireland/Munster)
9 (Half-back/Scrum-half): Rhys Webb (Wales/Ospreys)
10 (First five eighth/Fly-half): Dan Biggar (Wales/Ospreys)
11 (Left Wing): Elliot Daly (England/Wasps)
12 (Second five eighth/Inside Centre): Robbie Henshaw (Ireland/Leinster)
13 (Centre/Outside Centre): Jared Payne (Ireland/Ulster)
14 (Right Wing): Jack Nowell (England/Exeter Chiefs)
& 15 (Fullback): Leigh Halfpenny (Wales/Toulon (France)
And in the reserves are Rory Best, Joe Marler, Kyle Sinckler, Iain Henderson, Peter O'Mahony, Greig Laidlaw, Johnny Sexton & Liam Williams.
And the F1 show heads to Montreal, Quebec, Canada at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (He has a son who was Formula 1 world champion 20 years ago named Jacques Villeneuve (Canada) who last competed in his home race in 2006) for the Canadian Grand Prix where Lewis Hamilton (Great Britain) in the Mercedes will be hoping to get things right as Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel (Germany) leads the points standings & for the 1st time in 11 years, a Canadian driver will take part in the Canadian Grand Prix not only because it is an emotional homecoming for Lance Stroll (Canada) who is the son of billionaire Lawrence Stroll & returning to Formula 1 is Fernando Alonso (Spain) in the McLaren after competing in the Indy 500 last month although Jenson Button had to replace Alonso for the Monaco Grand Prix because his race abruptly ended after he clipped Sauber's Pascal Wehrlein (Germany) near the tunnel & what about Ferrari, not only because they are winning the constructors war but Mercedes are hoping to bounce back from the dead after a disastrous showing in Monaco so here's the circuit guide which will host round 7 of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship:
''Introduced in 1978, Despite a flat & straightforward profile, a track well liked by teams, drives & race fans. Unique location on an island in the Saint Lawrence, a quick ride by Metro from central Montreal. Tough on brakes & demanding on drivers thanks to tight chicanes & ever-present walls''
So that is my 113th blog of the year 2017 (MMXVII), I'll see you then.
P.S. And here's 2 new email messages coming right at you so the 1st one is a Malaysian friend of mine Sophia:
Dear Whetu,
Of course i remember your birthday! I will never forget, Happy Birthday my awesome Whetu.
Any plans for your birthday?
Love
Sophia
And this message that my biological Aunty sent to me wishing me a happy birthday:
Happy, Happy birthday, Nephew!!
Lots of aroha
Cathey
And here's Gemma's email that she sent to me in it's enitrety:
Hi Whetu
Thank you for my Mothers Day greeting. Also Happy Birthday! I hope you're being spoilt by your family! Are you going out to a restaurant to celebrate or is your grandad cooking up a feast at home?
I haven't met Cathy or Paige. Is that Cathy my cousin in Wellington? I think she met mum and everyone when she came up here once but I was overseas at the time.
Have a great day!
And I have announced that my 2nd cousin Huia (Daughter of Kathryn & sister of both Gemma & Ben) is no longer officially an honorary Jedi because she is pregnant at the moment (Although they can retire from active duties whenever she has a 1st child) so I've got to pass it on to both Sophia Ong & my cousin Paige Williams. And trust me that I'm going to Wellington with Pops on the 18th of June so he's got a concert there (Well I might have to stay at John & Lim but I'm not sure that we are going to see Cathey & Paige again just like last year) but I might even stay home so I was worried about it.
And finally I would like to thank Dad, Raewyn, Jansen, Pops, Uncle Bryan, Kathryn, Gemma, Aunty Tania, Rejean, Sherry, Sophia, Cathey, Paige & Diana Kent for all of my support.
