Drift & Die/Easy/Rooster/Them Bones: An action packed Queen's Birthday weekend of rugby (The Lions have landed)

And it was yesterday that the Warren Gatland (AKA The Gatfather/Gats/Gatty) coached British & Irish Lions have landed or should I say touched down in New Zealand for their 10 match tour but the team has been named for the match against the NZ Provincial Barbarians (Featuring Warren Gatland's son Bryn Gatland who is playing & the NZ Provincial Barbarians is a team consisting the best players from the Mitre 10 Cup but Wanganui's Peter Rowe is playing on the bench because he's the only player from the Mitre 10 Heartland Championship competition not only because it's his last game because he's retired already) so here's the starting lineup of course:

1 (Loose head prop): Joe Marler (England/Harlequins)
2 (Hooker): Rory Best (Ireland/Ulster)
3 (Tight head prop): Kyle Sinckler (England/Harlequins)
4 (Lock): Alun Wyn Jones (Wales/Ospreys)
5 (Lock): Iain Henderson (Ireland/Ulster)
6 (Blindside Flanker): Ross Moriarty (Wales/Gloucester (England)
7 (Openside Flanker): Sam Warburton (Captain, Wales/Cardiff Blues)
8 (Number 8): Taulupe Faletau (Wales/Bath (England)
9 (Half-back/Scrum-half): Greig Laidlaw (Scotland/Gloucester (England)
10 (First five eighth/Fly-half): Johnny Sexton (Ireland/Leinster)
11 (Left Wing): Tommy Seymour (Scotland/Glasgow Warriors)
12 (Second five eighth/Inside Centre): Ben Te'o (England/Worcester Warriors)
13 (Centre/Outside Centre): Jonathan Joseph (England/Bath)
14 (Right Wing): Anthony Watson (England/Bath)
& 15 (Fullback): Stuart Hogg (Scotland/Glasgow Warriors)

And in the reserves are Jamie George, Mako Vunipola, Tadhg Furlong, George Kruis, Justin Tipuric, Rhys Webb, Owen Farrell & Elliot Daly.

And finally we have an action packed Queen's Birthday weekend of rugby starting with the Blues taking on the Reds tonight at Apia Park in Apia, Samoa...then tomorrow we have the Crusaders whose unbeaten run in Super Rugby is on the line against the Highlanders at AMI Stadium in Christchurch followed by the Chiefs taking on the might of the Waratahs at FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton then the British & Irish Lions get their New Zealand tour underway against the NZ Provincial Barbarians at Toll Stadium in Whangarei & after that it is the Hurricanes who are in Perth to take on the embattled Western Force.

So that is my 111th blog of the year 2017 (MMXVII), thank you for joining us.

P.S. And the Red Bull RB6 from the 2010 Formula 1 world championship season will appear in the F1 2017 as a classic car because it's the normally aspirated V8 powered single seater Formula 1 car that Sebastian Vettel (Germany) famously won the 1st of his 4 titles in a 4 year dominance period between 2010 to 2013 & his teammate was Mark Webber (Australia) who finished 3rd in the championship behind Ferrari's Fernando Alonso (Spain) not only because Webber was replaced by none other than fellow Aussie Daniel Ricciardo (AKA Danny Ric/The Honey Badger) for the 2014 season (The Mercedes era began since then when the turbocharged hybrid V6 engines came into effect).
