Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first in gaming that I always play Grand Theft Auto IV (So too is Star Wars Battlefront II 2005 for which both the Clone Wars, & the Galactic Civil War eras remind me of a feel of experiencing both Iran, & that dreadful invasion since 2022 that they're still currently having) in response to the Iran war (For which is similar to Vietnam in the 60s & 70s, but it would never end along with Ukraine similar to Reconquista (In which the conflict took place in Spain between the Moors (Muslims) & the Christian kingdoms that lasted for 770 years which concluded with the fall of Granada by the Catholic Monarchs of Spain, therefore ending any oppressive, totalitarian Islamic rule on the Iberian peninsula) that they once had, & the latest as the Strait of Hormuz has since been shut down as a result of that shocking conflict that they're currently having) & that horrendous war that begun in 2022, especially the police shootout stuff that in the Ballad of Gay Tony expansion pack evokes memories of Iran (Well, I'm gutted or I should say, stunned but devastated that the fuel prices have since gone up caused by that invasion in Iran that they had the Strait of Hormuz has been locked down (And there will be a ceasefire being announced for a week so that the strait can be opened, but that's not the case since there is no clear truce as well as no end in sight, & the fee of petrol had been skyrocketed already with the inflation rate seemed to stay increasingly high as long as the war keeps going due to the price hike on gas, & what happens if the fuel runs out? It would be a disaster because it'll be pretty bad if there is a lack of petrol hence the reason why that there is a gas shortage), & the main GTA IV vanilla version has drawn parallels to that terrible conflict which started in 2022 that they're still having, but with no drones (And I have not seen combat like this since either Kyiv, or Tehran due to my experiences of watching it on CNN that I have not seen lately (Just like Derrick McReary that he has not seen combat like that since Belfast according to the previous story that I did on my blog the year before, but crikey, this is like being back in the Iran war, & that awful invasion since 2022 (And also Derrick tells Niko, & Packie about that is like being back in the Troubles (And that's the 2nd time I've mentioned about the Troubles before on my blogs which was about that certain conflict between Protestant England supporting Northern Ireland, & Catholic Ireland that lasted from 1968 which resulted in 3,700 casualties (While 50,000 have been wounded), until 30 years later way back in 1998 that it ended due to an Good Friday agreement) as I mentioned on my same story on my blogs also the year before) that is similar to a pair of ICE shootings earlier this year that claimed the tragic lives of Renee Good & Alex Pretti due to America's war on immigration had already been ramped up with the customs enforcement agency's ability to issue such mass deportation measures that are into play after that dreadful American leader's election win the year before that has certainly raised the ire, then he returned to office last year which is one year on according to the previous stories that I did on my blogs before (While these wars in both that dreadful invasion since 2022 & in Iran are never going to stop, because this could go on for long & the 2 of these wars will last forever for the time being like it might even be permanently, like it may take a century to end it, or even the Reconquista war that I mentioned it on this blog).
And secondly in the music department such as that I have revealed my fave song from the American punk band Rise Against is, & it is 'Re-Education (Through Labor)' that came out back in 2008 (Same year that the Dark Knight which featured Welshman Christian Bale (Who was involved in an abusive rant towards the filmmakers in which Bale was a bit upset, outraged & infuriated during the filming of Terminator: Salvation that was released a year later also back in 2009) as 'The Caped Crusader' of Batman & the late Aussie film star of Heath Ledger as the Joker with by far, his best role to date where he had been posthumously awarded best supporting actor at the Oscars, was released in cinemas, the Chinese city of Beijing who hosted the Summer Games where the New Zealand Olympic team won 3 gold medals with the Ever-Swindell twins in the women's double sculls rowing, then Valerie Adams in the women's shot put, & Tom Ashley in the sailing, followed by the Kiwis winning our first & only League World Cup crown where we claimed the biggest upset in international league against the Kangaroos (Who dominated the last 3 back in 2013 (The last time New Zealand appeared in a final in that we fell short therefore was unable to follow up from our title that we won also back in 2008), then back in 2017 (In which they beat England in a rematch of the 1995 final for that was a low scoring affair) & the most recent one at the delayed 2021 tournament which was held in 2022 (Well, they continued their dominance on top of the league world by thrashing first time finalists Samoa who was the first in history to have a Pacific island nation involved in the big dance of league's global showpiece event) at Lang Park in Brisbane, Australia, then Barack Obama winning the US election in which he became the first African American president in history as well as the US having the best president that they ever had (Compared to that dreadful American leader who is arguably by far the worst President of the United States in history since the late Herbert Hoover, & if the Republicans win the mid terms this year (And let's say that there will not be a Republican dominance expected to continue), & if that country who started that horrendous invasion since 2022, wins the conflict against Ukraine that it would be one of the worst days of my life, but let's say that the Democrats who may have a chance of winning the mid term elections as I told Dad before during our phone conversation on April 9th, according to the previous blogs that I did before), as well as the global financial economic crisis took place where the stock markets had been crashed & collapsed for the first time since the Great Depression in 1929, & the infamous Grand Theft Auto IV game that had come out that year in a controversial way despite that the game had been crowned champions of the gaming world due to its stunning gameplay for which had been a absolute banger & a masterpiece according to the previous stories that I did (And that GTA IV one would be regarded as one of my fave video games of all-time along with Gran Turismo 7 that was released in 2022 & that Star Wars Battlefront II (Not the 2017 one) game that also came out back in 2005), but I like both 'Prayer for the Refugee' & 'Audience of One' as my other favourites from the band (But I like 'Give It All' as well indeed).
And thirdly in food related news such as we went to Caroline's for lunch where I had From the Sea meal there, a day before Pops took me to Burger King that I had a Southern Spicy Fried Chicken Burger there, then I made Devilled Sausages for our dinner on Good Friday, a day before we also went to St John's Club Elms Restaurant for lunch on April 4th where I had Tuscan Chicken there (A day before I cooked marinated chicken with rice & green veg like peas & beans during Easter Sunday dinner), but Dad has been having Mexican food lately because of him reminiscing his days in Mexico with Aunty Tan, the late Nan, & Pops during the mid to late 80s.
And finally here's the latest in the rugby news coming in about the latest round of Super Rugby Pacific which is round 8:
Crusaders 69 - 26 Fijian Drua (It was the Crusaders night as they farewelled Apollo Projects Stadium in style after 14 years with a hiding over the Fijian Drua at their last game over there at the venue in Christchurch (Including Crusaders hooker Codie Taylor who racked up 4 tries in a game that was just incredible in his 150th Super Rugby game in an historic night like that as they went on to take a century of victories at that iconic venue for one last hurrah, out of their 122nd & final match) before making the move to Te Kaha Stadium which is due to host the Super Round during ANZAC weekend on the 24th to 26th of April (The Crusaders will play the New South Wales Waratahs there a day before ANZAC day, while the Fijian Drua will return to the city as they lock horns with the Chiefs the day following ANZAC day)
Chiefs 42 - 14 New South Wales Waratahs (While it was the Chiefs who annihilated the New South Wales Waratahs with doubles by both Quinn Tupaea (Who could be a Super Rugby player of the tournament candidate due to him being an in-form player who is a midfielder, but is worthy to remain with the All Blacks under new coach Dave Rennie, & is leading 5 or 10 votes ahead of Western Force player Ben Donaldson), & Kyren Taumoefolau who would score his first 2 in Chiefs colours in Hamilton to move to 3rd behind the Blues in the standings which is currently led by the Hurricanes at the moment who'll take on the Blues due on April 11th in a top of the table clash as well as the match of the season, at Hnry Stadium in Wellington (And they're showing a Super Rugby archive on the 9th of April where they go back to 1996 where the historic first ever professional rugby match was being staged in Palmy between the Wellington Hurricanes, & the Auckland Blues in anticipation of that crucial Super Rugby Pacific game of the year about to take place on the 11th of April), but the key highlight in that match was Chiefs blindside flanker Samipeni Finau who delivered that monster tackle on reserve Tahs tighthead prop Siosifa Amone, as they sent shockwaves throughout the ground, especially the entire stadium in fact ("Bang! What a tackle!" As Aussie league legend Cameron Smith would say in the NRL section of the Rugby League 26 game commentary, so too is Brian Carney who is the former British & Irish dual code international in the Super League commentary section of that same computer game) for which I recited that Ward 4 line from the Jonah Lomu Rugby game where I always say every time a player takes a big hit on a player who carries the pill of "Mercy me! That could've put him in Ward 4! I hope not, that's a maternity ward" (Although Dad who told me before on the 5th of April that he can't do the English accent while I can), but that's one for the highlight reel in years to come (Maybe the tackle of the season! For the Chiefs! Finau & Oh! Cop that! Cop that big time!), & Roman Reigns (Or Jey Uso, then Bron Breakker), eat your heart out (Or more like both Brian 'The Chiropractor' Lima who once played for Manu Samoa, or the late All Black Jerry 'JC' Collins (Cousin of Tana Umaga who was one of the hardest hitters in the game along with Lima according to the previous stories on my blogs before) with their signature hard but thumping tackles at the 2003 men's Rugby World Cup tournament), because Finau's thumping hit on Amone reminds me of Roman (Or Jey then Bron), & his trademark finisher of the Spear currently used in the WWE)
& Queensland Reds 19 - 42 Western Force (And it was the Western Force who produced the shocks of the round, as they stunned the Queensland Reds in Brisbane for the rarest of wins there in enemy territory (Including a hat-trick from Argentinian lock Franco Molina who produced a stunning upset there, but the Queensland Reds would've moved up to 3rd if they won, & they didn't in the end) when the Western Force's season who they thought that they were on life support, then they put the defibrillator on, but league convert or code hopper I should say of Zac Lomax who was due to make his debut for his new club pulled out after hurting his hamstring during training (Or more like practice) on Thursday, therefore he has to wait in order to recover to make it in time for their upcoming match against the Fijian Drua at Churchill Park in Lautoka).
So that is my 701st blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 53rd of this year, viva Ukraine.
