Superman's Dead: My 54th Blog of the year 2026

Well, hi everyone, & welcome back to another blog, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first the latest in gaming as Dad has agreed to purchase the EA Sports Rugby 06 game for me, & it will not arrive until the 16th of April even though the game is on its way from the South Island, so he paid about 24 bucks for both the game as well as additional postage & handling (And there is no instruction manual in it so I think I'm going to survive without one, but there is an update as there was none available in the South Island as the man in the shop was attempting to find it, so Dad had got a duplicate straight out of Auckland (And it had an instruction manual that time), & I had to pay 32 bucks for the added postage & handling because I do have enough money with me) on Trade Me which is due to arrive the day before ANZAC Day), so I quite literally enjoy playing the 2006 Football (Soccer) men's World Cup game, even though that I'm playing Italy in the World Cup game mode (For which I clocked it when I played against England in the final, & won), but I'm now into the quarterfinal phase against Switzerland, & I have unlocked the Round of 16, then the quarters, while I'm trying to unlock both the semifinal (For which I did on April 10th) & final (Also for that I did on the 11th) stages of the tournament, but I always score both goals in the first half, then run the clock down when I'm playing in the second half until the end as my new tactic in the game (And I'm doing always utmost best not to concede a goal for which I always do just like in a rugby or league game that I also doing my utmost best not to give away a try, penalty goal or a field (Drop) goal).

And secondly that in motor racing such as Formula One that there is a new world championship leader, & it is an Italian of Kimi Antonelli in the Mercedes-AMG who dominated the last 2 races such as China & Japan (But the next race won't be until Miami since the Bahrain & Saudi Arabian Grand Prix races have been called off due to the Iran war (Once at the moment when on February 28th this year that a Football (Soccer) men's World Cup co-host led by that dreadful American leader (Who established a task force meaning that security for football's global showpiece event, is expected to be fully heightened) had made the decision to start a certain invasion on a tournament participant (Who could be withdrawn from the World Cup, but they haven't made it official yet) in an uncharted territory by assassinating the late Iranian Ayatollah, causing total shock as they allowed their son of that slain leader to take over who says that he's vowing vengeance upon thee by answering the call to respond to their troops who had directive shoot to kill orders towards enemy soldiers in a chain reaction of tragic events in response to the fatal murder of the current Iranian supreme leader's dad by the Americans who launched an airstrike for that was entirely unprovoked, illegitimate, & cowardly (Or more like from my point of view that it's deliberate, & intentional) when they had targeted nuclear, military & leadership sites, citing that the action occurred during ongoing negotiations and resulted in significant civilian casualties and infrastructural damage when the nation was under attack somehow somewhat (Great Barrier Reef!), while the strait of Hormuz has since been closed that caused fuel prices to be increased which is our main problem on the weekend of the 12th to 13th along with Cyclone Vaianu which is due to hit towards the North Island of New Zealand with rain & wind since the cyclone had ravaged towards Fiji leaving thousands without power just like in Tauranga recently on that morning) had been broken out already (And they're heading into the first week of the 5 week break being declared by the FIA), so that the constructors themselves were able to continue work of developing their current cars), but there are rumors that the former 4 time world champion Max Verstappen is considering quitting the sport after he & his Red Bull Racing team were having a disappointing but troubled start to the season because they're always tend to struggle in qualifying in terms of a lack of pace (And the wind tunnel development is failing with the car that seemed to go slow on that occasion that has been plagued with issues such as the amount of speed is dropping, but one of Max's race engineers is quitting with Italian Brit Gian Piero Lambiase is set to depart from Red Bull on a gardening leave such as a sabbatical next year as he defects to the rival McLaren team from the 2028 season onwards therefore triggering a form slump for Red Bull that has been declining) for that has been dwindling, while the new hybrid era seems to be not popular throughout the F1 paddock as the drivers who are seemed to be mediocre about it by criticizing them because that they are getting baffled mainly due to the current loopholes & regs that they issued this season, are beginning to unravel at the moment according to the Late Braking programme on Sky Sport hosted by Kiwi motor racing legend Greg Murphy who was discussing with recently semi-retired driver & content creator of Aussie Scott Pye who drove a Super Tourer throughout the Taupo circuit when it was first held the year before.

And thirdly that I was watching an old Super Rugby match between the Wellington Hurricanes (Which featured the likes of Christian Cullen, Tana Umaga, Alama Ieremia, Jon Preston, the late Norm Hewitt, Filo Tiatia, Chresten Davis, & Bull Allen), & the Auckland Blues (Who had players such as the late great Jonah Lomu, Zinzan Brooke, Sean Fitzpatrick, Olo Brown, Craig Dowd, Michael Jones, Eroni Clarke, & Carlos Spencer) at the Manawatu Showgrounds in Palmerston North that was held way back in 1996 during the Super 12 era when the first professional rugby match, had been staged in New Zealand (And there were new legislation being introduced, such as all 8 forwards must be bound in a scrum, & marks cannot be claimed from either a kick-off or restart once a team scores), but the men from Auckland ended up with a win during the match that Ieremia from the Hurricanes had the honour of scoring the first try of the new competition (But the latest in the rugby as bad news had swept throughout the Blues camp as Cam Suafoa is dying because of his serious sickness now being classified as terminal according to the doctors meaning that he has a few months to live).

And lastly that I thoroughly enjoy a great day on the 9th of April as I went to the bank to put cash on my EFTPOS card where I accompanied Pops for assistance, then Pops took me to Aramoho Health Centre to get a double jab of both COVID & flu vaccines straight away so I thought that they ran out, but no, they are available on that occasion so I watched the rugby then doing gaming such as playing football (Soccer) that morning along with Grand Theft Auto, then Gran Turismo, cricket & NASCAR, as well as having a Graze Out fish with tartare sauce, mashed potato & vege meal for dinner (I had a mixture of both butter chicken & beef hot pot soup with toast, & the mixed entree meal that reminds me of Thai Villa cooked in my own air fryer such as spring rolls, samosas & gyoza (And I love my own air fryer even though Pops has one too, because of me instead of using the oven), but on April 10th that we're heading to Caroline's Boatshed for lunch (An hour after Pops is due to have his COVID shot available that day), & I guess what I'm going to have? That I will be having a sizzler burger there (While Pops would have his usual of butter chicken curry meal because of him reminiscing Poppa Jim who had a love affair of Indian curries).

So that is my 702nd blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 54th of this year, viva Ukraine.
