Well, welcome to our readers here in New Zealand, & around the world, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger, but first that the commentary team for Rugby 25 consists of Scottish play-by-play caller Andrew Cotter who is joined by both Welshmen of Jonathan 'Jiffy' Davies who is the former rugby & league player who provides the expert comments, & the sideline commentator is Sean Holley, meanwhile in Rugby League 26 that the NRL commentary team also consists of veteran Aussie play-by-play announcer Andrew 'Vossy' Voss who is also joined by Australian rugby league legend Cameron Smith who also provides the expert comments, while the Super League commentary team features Englishman Dave Woods who is the play-by-play caller as well as former British & Irish league & rugby player Brian Carney who is the expert comments person, & the commentary team in the Cricket 26 game includes ex-English player David 'DG' Gower who is the ball-by-ball announcer in the first class test format, compared to either both Aussie cricket legends of Adam 'Gilly' Gilchrist (Or Damien 'Flem' Fleming since the latest update) as the ball-by-ball commentator in the limited overs format such as List A One Day International & T20, also meanwhile female English cricket broadcaster Alison 'Ali' Mitchell provides expert comments in all formats as she joins Gower in tests & Gilchrist or Fleming in limited overs formats.
And secondly in league such as the New Zealand Warriors fall short for the first time this NRL season against the West Tigers (Which featured the likes of players such as Fiji's Apisai Koroisau, as well as Samoa's Jarome Luai, & Lebanese player Adam Doueihi who made the difference of winning that certain game at golden point through a drop goal by Doueihi) following an injury to one of their key players of New South Wales player Mitch Barnett who is injured again, & could miss the entire State of Origin only if the injury looks to be severe which could be heartbreaking for NSW Blues & their chances of winning back Origin (And our next game could be against the Sharks away in Cronulla in Sydney where we would seeking to bounce back after a misfortune at home against the Tigers, & I mean what went wrong for the Wahs? Such as we did not get the consistency right in the aftermath of Barnett getting hurt for that really was the turning point) against Queensland who had been the current holders since last year in which they came 1 - 0 down to overturn a deficit of 2 - 1 as they won the last State of Origin.
And thirdly in football (soccer) as Italy miss out on failing to qualify for the 3rd time in a row which proved costly when one of their players had been shown the red card just before the halftime break, therefore they had to play with 10 players for the rest of the game, after their defeat on penalties against Bosnia & Herzegovina who marched on into the Football (Soccer) men's World Cup finals for the first time since 2014 for that really was the upsets in international football (Soccer) history just like North Macedonia did them against the Italians in 2022 (Sorry Iceland Vs England Euro 2016, I would like to take it back), including the Bosnians who thought that they were down & out, scored an equalizer at the buzzer which proved to be the game changer because of the Italians who scored early first (And this is similar to the delayed Euro 2020 final at Wembley in 2021 that England led early, but Italy equalized during the 2nd half before claiming their 2nd Euros crown after their win on spot kicks that the English fans were mad against each other after their loss, so they rioted similar to the US Capitol buildings insurrection in the same year with many arrests being made on charges for mass assaults from football/soccer hooligans, before they even got sentenced for the crimes that they committed), then the match had to be played at extra time & when no further sides traded goals, it had gone into spot kicks in which they made a difference (And why do the Italians always fail in football of not making the World Cup compared to other sports like cricket & rugby? Well, they always make it into the Euros, but it's so difficult for them when other teams like Norway & Bosnia who both seemed to be competitive therefore there was a gap between depth (The Italian coach is a former World Cup winning player of Gennaro Gattuso who tried to train his next generation of players up to shape, but they failed) so that they can level the international playing field (First Sweden a year before the 2018 tournament, then North Macedonia in 2022, & recently Bosnia & Herzegovina this year that the Italians weren't able to continue by not making it through the tournament (Compared to the big European teams such as Belgium, Croatia, the English, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, & Spain) by struggling to get beyond the weaker teams who have known for the ability to win (And I think I got it right were I think the Bosnians were going to win when they had the home field advantage after managing to survive on penalties in the UEFA World Cup qualification semifinal against Wales, so they have done it again in succession), so that's why that Italy have an inability of making the World Cup of course, as they ran out of ideas of winning such as the lack of consistency, & so many mistakes such as players getting dismissed for foul play) for that really was inevitable, while other results in the UEFA World Cup qualification such as Sweden, Czechia, & Türkiye having made it past Poland, Denmark, & Kosovo in their matches respectively.
And lastly that I was having a decent day on the 1st day of April such as playing the new Japanese GT500 pack on the Project Motor Racing game as well as Rugby 25 & Rugby League 26 games respectively (Where I download the Te Kaha Stadium in Christchurch (The largest city in the South Island & the 2nd largest here in our country ahead of Wellington, but behind Auckland) on both games, then I played RL 26 as the New Zealand Warriors against the Dolphins first at Hnry Stadium in Welly where I beat them 48 - 0, then the North Queensland Cowboys at One New Zealand Stadium which had been created in the game then shared online with a 42 - 0 score line, then in the Rugby 25 game where I played as both the Crusaders & the AB's, against the Waratahs & France respectively at Te Kaha (For that the venue had to be also be created in the game then shared online) in which I beat both of them in the 2 games ended up with the score of 84 - 0), then going to Burger King for lunch where I had a spicy Southern fried chicken burger with fries & water there, then playing Gran Turismo 7 before doing the lawnmowing & picking up feijoas (And we have heaps of them meaning that we have the best crop of my favourite fruit ever compared to both last year, & the year before) as well as putting out the general waste bin for which I got a NZ$70 bonus for mowing the lawn for which I always do it every Wednesday (But I'm going to my bank that is Bank of New Zealand on the 10th of April so I can put my cash onto my EFTPOS card for which I always do every 2 months during the spring, summer & autumn months, but not so much for the winter months).
So that is my 698th blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 50th of this year, viva Ukraine.
P.S. And I would like to give a shoutout to Pops for his 79th birthday today (He's due to have his big one next year of 80), so I want to wish him all the best out here today, buckle up ladies & gentlemen...Watch this space, good luck.
