Well, hi everybody, & welcome back to another blog, I'm Whetu Ngapo & you're tuning in to my KiwiAvenger blog here on blogger (Well, welcome ladies & gents to my 700th blog special where the title of this blog is inspired by the 1985 Hollywood movie thriller of To Live & Die in L.A. featuring the likes of film stars appearing in that movie such as William Petersen & Willem Dafoe), but first that Dad got both my pills that I originally ran out, & of course the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany PlayStation 2 game had turned up instead of next week which is post-Easter where I literally enjoyed it (And there were players from the past like 20 years ago that are in the game such as the world champion Italy side from that year way back with players such as Gianluigi Buffon, Alessandro Nesta, Fabio Cannavaro, Francesco Totti, & Alessandro Del Piero in the team, along with other big names that appeared in the game at the time from different countries such as Thierry Henry, Oliver Kahn, John Terry, Adriano, Pablo Aimar, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Iker Casillas, Petr Cech, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ivan Klasnic, Jerzy Dudek, Alexander Frei, Andriy Shevchenko, Oswaldo Sanchez, Claudio Reyna, Shinji Ono, Lee Young-pyo, & Harry Kewell, compared to today where they now have modern day stars like Kylian Mbappe, Pedri, Harry Kane, Joshua Kimmich, Erling Haaland, Raphinha, Virgil van Dijk, Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Achraf Hakimi, Antoine Semenyo, Scott McTominay, Konrad Laimer, Ermedin Demirovic, Thibaut Courtois, Gregor Kobel, Vitinha, Lautaro Martinez, Federico Valverde, Josko Gvardiol, Christian Pulisic, Alphonso Davies, Julian Quinyones, Luis Diaz, Takefusa Kubo, Son Heung-min, Alexander Isak, Patrik Schick, Hakan Calhanoglu, Ronwen Williams, Mathew Ryan, & our own Chris Wood), therefore it sounded like that I'm on cloud 9 to me because it is my 17th PlayStation 2 game that I own since Rugby 08 was my first PS2 game that I had as my birthday gift last year before getting WRC Rally Evolved, Rugby 2004 & EA Sports Rugby 2005 even before I purchased my PlayStation 2 slim console to add to both the PS5 Pro & the Xbox Series X 2 TB consoles respectively as part of reliving my days playing on that retro console, the purchased 16 more, including Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec & Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix (That I haven't played in many years) at Cash Converters (Where I bought Need for Speed: Underground & Cricket 2004 all along) as well as V8 Supercars Australia 2 & V8 Supercars 3 at the old EB Games before it was closed down entirely along with Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 & FIFA 10, & then Star Wars Battlefront 2004 & Star Wars Battlefront II 2005 games that I've got after Christmas, & the Cricket 07 & Rugby League 2 games were exactly from Trade Me that I requested it for Dad to buy for me.
And secondly that I had another decent day on Good Friday such as doing gaming, then listening to Brian FM as well as picking feijoas up & making a devilled sausage meal that me & Pops were having for a dinner, & watching the rugby of course like we always do & posting my blog for my Good Friday special as well as I'm still working on my future blogs that I'm due to post (And a day later I was having breakfast, then watching the replay of the Crusaders against the Fijian Drua game, as well as going for my traditional morning walk, & us going to the market, then Cash Converters, & the Vinyl Room, but we're due to go to St John's Club Elms Restaurant for lunch as of April 4th for where I'll be having Tuscan chicken (And then also a day later that I was watching the Chiefs against the New South Wales game from the 4th of April, then played my fave game on the PS5 that is Gran Turismo 7 for I'm still waiting for me to buy an Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI touring car at the legends dealership in game, but they haven't found one available so I check regularly daily until it is found, before I even played the PlayStation 2 for which is the Star Wars Battlefront II 2005 game that I still literally enjoy, as well as the Cricket 07 & Rugby 08 ones that I played before making an Easter Sunday dinner special where me & Pops ate that meal, & after that that I posted food photos that I took from the month of February this year, but how does both Kontessa Ngapo & Diana Green (+ Kenzi Stier (Son of that female teacher who taught me during my technology days at Raetihi Primary School & an old boy of Ruapehu College just like me, but how would I know him, because of that friend suggestions stuff that he tells me) who I accepted his friend request due to the fact that I haven't contacted him since 2009 where I previously been on Facebook) know me that often? Because both of them who accepted my friend request, & now I have 50 friends on Facebook so, I must've been ecstatic about the 2 of Kontessa (One of Pops friends on FB who lives in Kennedy Bay in Coromandel which is located in the Thames Valley province) & Diana (Who I haven't contacted her for 20 years where I went to Ruapehu College with her, but now she lives in Waharoa in the Waikato province), then Giovanna Hall who I have not seen her along with her Indian husband since 2017 when me & Pops were at Caroline's, so I guess I've got 52 friends recently on Facebook now) just like my friend Andy Webb's cousin Marisa Lopez, then I'm currently typing new material on my future blogs that I will be posting.
And thirdly that the sport of football as the Europeans call it, is referred to soccer in North America, especially both Canada & the United States, but I'm divided about the 2 names so I decided to call it football (Soccer), while the late Leon always says the European term instead of the North American one, & I call rugby union as rugby, & rugby league as league in order to differentiate between the 2 names, & there's motor sport who I refer to it as motor racing just like Pops, others like in America & Canada where it's known as auto racing, & meanwhile that I always call the sport of American football as gridiron because it sounds foreign to me as its an all-American name, just like ice hockey is simply known as hockey in both North America & parts of Europe.
And lastly in music related stuff that I have revealed my 2nd fave Canadian rock band is, & it's Our Lady Peace that I love because of the song 'Innocent' that I first heard back in 2002, but Nickelback would have to still be my fave rock band from the Great White North (And I love other famous Canadian rock musicians such as Alanis Morissette (AKA the Madonna of rock, but there was a song by Michelle Branch (Who is rock music's version of Christina according to the previous stories that I did on my blogs) called 'Everywhere' where it was based on the sound of Alanis), then Avril Lavigne (Known as rock's equivalent of Britney) & Alannah Myles) at least.
So that is my 700th blog of the year 2026 (MMXXVI) & my 52nd of this year, viva Ukraine.
